EASILY Make Low Poly Backgrounds in GIMP
In this GIMP tutorial, I show you a super easy trick for creating your own low poly backgrounds, or geometric backgrounds, to use in any project! These background use geometric shapes like triangles, hexagons, octagons, or squares to create seamless patterns that are shaded for an awesome 3D effect. These background are used in all sorts of graphic design compositions.
This is also a pretty in-depth tutorial on how to use the Mosaic filter. Beginners welcome!

BTW if you can't find the mosaic feature via the "Search" feature, you can go to Filters>Distorts>Mosaic to access it as well.

FYI: Make Joints & Light colour same as background, and then adjust HSV Value "V" to match. This removes all lines except inbetween Darker poly's.
You can use Audacity's noise reduction filter to filter the noise in the background, great video anyways .. thanks ! :)
Could you alpha then duplicate layer make other layer blur to make a better mix? (for blending gaps)
