The process only requires a few simple steps which anyone can follow along with even if you aren't familiar with Blender. Blender is completely free to use which makes this process ideal as there isn't any special paid programs to download. Once your heightmaps are created, you can easily share them on sites like 3dgrayscale.com and even make money selling them if you wish.
