G'Day Andy. Love the Videos. Very informative and easy to watch. I have a question you might be able to answer! I'm currently getting 4 bike built in china, almost ready. My Bike builders in china don't really know what COO CHAFTA is! They have sent me a commercial invoice for $2.315USD. After going to a FFC in Melb, they have said they can arrange a CHAFTA COO for $70USD and getting paperwork to China Customs for a further $70USD. Does that seem expensive cost from my FFC? Should I just ask for a Cheaper Price displayed on the invoice? Lastly... do you have a local FFC that you would recommend I use? Thanks for your time. Keep up the Vids. Regards Pat

Thanks Pat, that means a lot! Exciting times for you! On the Aus business charging that much, it doesn't surprise me - we have much higher costs in Aus so doing anything is gonna cost a bit. As you've probably already worked out, with those numbers there's not really much point as you're barely saving anything. I import very small products and I use DHL/Fedex so I can't really recommend anyone, sorry. Regarding cheaper prices on invoices, it's pretty common for exporters to undervalue goods but it's not something I ever request or would recommend on a youtube channel for obvious reasons. Sorry mate, I've not really helped much there! :D

@@courierquest yeah thanks Andy, I rewatched your video and applied your simple formulas and worked out that ill just cop the gST and extra charges, and claim it back on GST. Thanks for the reply. appreciate it.

Hi Mate, Looking to import some toilet accessories such as towel tacks and toilet roll holders, pretty new to Ali baba. Would you say because they are quite heavy i think the best way would be to import by sea. How do I avoid the difficulty of sea shipping, i do not want to pick up at port and avoid trying to find a courier. Any insight would be amazing. Love the videos brother keep it up.

Thanks mate! Yea I would definitely say air freight is out of the question for that sort of product. You can definitely find suppliers that will organise sea freight to your door, that'll be a very common request especially on Alibaba
