I'm from Missouri and went to this seafood restaurant down in Florida and had the stuffed flounder and it almost made me cry.

Works everywhere. A place I've gone for years ocean view Willoughby spit just across the bridge from norfolk virginia where the bay and ocean meet there's 3 rock jettys throw that jerk shad between the jetty or beside the pipe catch flounder all day especially on full low and incoming tide. ❤thanks brother

Yummmmmm! Sautéed in olive oil, then finished with finely minced garlic, cilantro, pepper, salt and a squeeze of lemon. Then grab your pita bread and pick up chunks of delicious meat. Beautiful fish.

the channel Cooking and Fishing been doing this for years, i use the quarter ounce jig and reel into the fish before i set the hook, 90 percent of the time they grab it on the drop so you have to train yourself to feel it. Nice video

Are you using a weight? Because I usually use a weight but also use that pop pop pop method

We have flounder which are winter flounder here. ). Hence the summer flounder is called fluke here to separate the two types

Hi, I’ve been getting into surf fishing and live in jersey. I’ve never had luck surf fishing and usually stick to a charter if I want to catch something. I usually go to island state park, and I was wondering if you could tell me the spot you go to or a better spot in general.

Always wondered what method to use when using these appreciate it!

That’s exactly the same setup I use when going fluke fishing but I just add on a price of squid

I like the 1/4 but I find I can cover much more water throwing 3/8. 1/4 deff has better action overall. Pink and nuclear chicken!

Im just not a flounder kinda guy. Keep in mind I love fish but the only way kve ever had flounder that I was impressed with was an asian style broiled in some sort of sauce. Smoked eel is hands down my favorite type of fish personally.

Man you need to dry down south lures they have all sizes and I recommend the bone color that’s a personal fav or doa shrimp I caught a 28 inch red on one last night

Nope, stays pink the whole time. These are also “glow” gulp. So they glow in the dark at night too! Highly recommend

@@HookedwithBernie oh ok! Never knew that now I do 👍🏼 I use flukes for summer bass. White or pink work the best where I live. I’ll even throw them both in a bag together so they bleed into each other giving it a wounded bait look.

i wish flounder would be in the surf here in galveston, tx... never in my life have i caught one there, but on the bayside you can walk with lights at night and limit out gigging.

@@mikeyseko5709 its really fun inn the right conditions. Went a few weeks ago and found a nice spot with lots of sea grass about 3 inches under water. It was so clear the flounder were just laying on the grass
