Awesome! I decided to paint the calipers on my Tundra yellow to blast out from the grey paint and black rotors & rims. So many red calipers out there yellow just seems to be a better and hotter color. Awesome video man!

New sub here. Great vid. Painted calipers are on point. I wish I would have viewed this video about 3 weeks ago. Lol. I just painted my calipers on my ‘12 GT. I didn’t use primer, but now, I wish I would’ve. Mine still look good but I haven’t really driven the car since we have tons of snow and ice. What kind of chin spoiler do you have and where did you get it? Thanks in advance. Keep up the good work.

How’s is that holding up?.. as far as the stickers go? I saw a video where they clear coat after the brembo sticker is installed. What’s your opinion on that before I get them professionally powder coated.

Did you put the brembo stickers for the front calipers the same way or did you put one up and other down ? Good job looks good

I brought Power stop brakes and rotors and was not happy especially if the brake pads are carbon infused. They suck on braking when they get HOT. However, in the rain, they worked well. I want to add that they WILL wear out fast if you drive with a heavy foot. I went thru mine in 5 months.

Can you please list the spray cans you used . Was the primer a caliper primer by the same makers as the caliper paint? I see the gloss is different vmt . Thanks

I purchased a brand new calipers which would be so much better and easier to do. I'll keep the old ones and when I find time to do them.

Yellow gives it more pop than red

I like the yellow color on the calipers. I think it gives your car contrast since you already have the black exterior and black wheels theme. Great job.

I have my Infiniti G35 sedans break calipers spray painted in black last October but I wanted to know how to remove the old black spray paint? Like what grade of sand paper did you use and all those details that I don’t hear in the video big bro please 🙂

I live in the UK and I bought a new Tripple Yellow ecoboost Mustang in 2016. It has been back to the dealer four times for resprays which came back with a succession of orange peel finishes, and ripples that can be seen under the top coat when the sun is shining. Can anyone please tell me if Tripple Yellow is a bad colour to spray or colour match, or doesn't the guy in the paintshop know what he is doing. THIS IS A MAIN DEALER in a big City. Ford seems to have dropped Tripple Yellow and moved to Orange - I wonder why ? One other thing, the drivers seat cushion collapsed in the first year so I can feel the metal frame and it is uncomfortable on long Journeys. The dealer told me that Ford does not warranty the seat cushion, yet they replaced the complete leather seat back. I love my car but the dealership stinks. Thanks

Still great! I’m a doofus and knocked a corner when putting on my old rear wheels so that happened but other than that they’re still bright shiny yellow

How much would you charge to do this ?

Took my a lot time and preparation to paint my calipers. If I do again, I take it to my auto body shop and have them do it for the $800 and one day turnaround time.

2 cans of each paint was enough?

Actually, the squeaking is caused by glazed pads rubbing against glazed rotors. That grease is lube for the slide pins so they freely move. The lube goes nowhere else.

Yeah. I thought that it was the guide pins were not lubed so they weren’t releasing from the rotors. Either way a full set of rotors and pads fixed any issue I had

Yeah it’s a lighter color so it needed a lot of coverage
