Awesome vid buddy!!!! I just got through installing my opt7 LED strips around my headlight bezels on my chally because I seen ur vid on installing them on ur chally and thought they looked sick!! And then I've been himming and hawing whether to get one g2 kit or 2 for the wife's Durango and here you do a vid on the stuff!!! Seeing you do multiple coats on ur calipers with one kit makes me confident one kit will do me just well!!! Thanks bud!! Keep em coming!!!

Looks good & adds a nice touch! FYI - when you have your wheels off, it's a good time to spray your fender wells & they will like new again! Just use some black trim & bumper spray paint.

I too really like the G2 caliper paint. I’ve used it on a few cars and even used leftovers on some metal artwork. It’s tuff as nails! Go job, that the way I do it too.

Likely because of price. I guess floating calipers on the rear are good enough. That being said, the performance package is a deal and would have made it slightly more expensive. Plus room to get the GT350 which has fixed rear calipers.

I think I like your method better. It's slower, but you don't have to worry about rattle can fallout. I have a black Mustang and I'm going to paint mine black and put the red brembo decal on it. Good video.

That looks super nice! Nice wheels too. I painted mine red on my 2007 red vette, but in a year they looked dull, so I found some high temp clear gloss and applied that to them, they shine real nice now. I’m thinking of blue for my red Cadillac xt6. Any thoughts on that combo? Merry Christmas

Great Video and thanks for explaining everything. I own a 2013 "Got to have it" green Mustang. Do you think the orange/red paint would be too much color ? Should I match the brakes to the car color ? i did buy the Cervini Window scoops and bought all the paint through Amazon. people are always commenting on the car "Saying "Beautiful' or 'Wow...Nice car". I am 63 and have always driven a Z28 or Trans Am when Iwas younger. I wish my wife showed some interest. She tells me this will be my last car. Hell my dad lived to be 93 and drove an 85 Monte Carlo SS. I told her this isn't my last car ! Like Abe Vigoda would say" I 'm not dead yet " !!!!

Brian, Brembo Brakes comes in 120 different colors to choose from. No need to paint. Just budget and get the real quality products. No Clak-Ka-Klak painting.

I hope you have good spacers on those back wheels. Cheaper ones will break off.

Was 1 can enough to do everything?

Always: Torque the wheel lugs in pattern including the lock nut. Its a performance car. If u drive it hard w brakes, that metal heats up and can cause a warp. Small risk and insignificant in a regular car but with this type, always torque.

Should do black 5.0 badges and a carbon fiber decklid

How are they holding up?

Not a mustang fan but this one looks great in black 👍🏽. I been g th bunking about painting mine but I think I would spray them.

Do you think the standard brakes are good enough for the 5.0 or do you think you need to spend that extra money for the performance pack for the brembos. Badass car btw

Standard brakes are more than enough. If you track your car, or want the additional benefits of the performance package, get the brembo's. That being said, the stock 4 piston calipers are really impressive fixed calipers, and are on par with the 4 piston brembo's of the gt500 from 2013-2014. They hold up well on my canyon runs about 30-45 minutes. Just do pads and fluid. But then again, the performance package is a steal. So your call.

Yea, I think he wanted it to be a quick job. I'm doing mine in a couple weeks. But I'll be completely removing the calipers and using primer, spray paint and clear coat spray...with a new decal.

Wouldn't it be easier to take the rotor off to paint the caliper?

Ur ganna have to go with the matte black emblems bro since ur car is gloss back the badges will look better if they’re matte black

I find it takes less time to bag and tape everything up and spray it than to use a brush. Not to mention a much better end result

This pint is special made for calipers specifically. It lasts 10+ years. Any other pint is only 3 years too in a car that is driven hard. I used engine enamel paint the first time and it looks great but doesn’t last. My calipers have 11,000 miles and 2.5 years and are perfect still and look like factory red gt350 calipers.

@@xGR1MxREAPERx Same here the spray I used is caliper specific. Have for about 2 years now and I drive the shit out of my car. My buddy used the brush on kind and he has permanent visible strokes on his calipers.
