Thank you for the videos! I am trying to readjust my Somfy's RTS motor up position as you told us, but it does not respond to the first stem (holding up and down together). What could be happening? Is this procedure valid for all Somfy's motors?

Hi Jean, It could be that the motor does not reach the end limit that's in the motor's memory. For example, if the motor runs too far up, you probably stop the motor before any damage is done. But that prevents you from being able to adjust the end limit with this short cut. The other option is to reset the (see here:kzread.info/dash/bejne/pYh71MOAdcmreJc.html) and then re-program the motor (see here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/rGd6s8OYgrW-e9o.html) Hope this helps, Otto

Hi. I'm slightly confufsed by this and the 'adjust bottom' video. Both seems to follow the same steps, so how does the motor know that you are setting either the top or bottom position? In the original set up you needed to press the Middle and Up at the same time to set the bottom position. Thanks in advance

Hi, the procedure is indeed very similar -> make the shutter roll to the lowest or highest position, press up and down simultaneously and hold until the motor jogs. Move to desiered position, press and hold "my" until the jog. That's it. But, only possible when: - motor has been programmed manually - lowest or highest position can be reached hope this helps..

i'm trying to program 1 of the 7 shades in the same room. i will not function when i press the up or down arrows. the shade is on upper limit position and when i pressed both at the same time, the shade started rolling(sounds like jog). also, can i re program all 7 shades and start all over again and have them on one channel?

lou qualls If the highest position can not be reached, the motor will not respond when pressing the up and down error. You need to be able to go to the current highest position and work from there. If that's not an option (when rolling in more would damage the shade), the only option left is a full reset and start from the factory settings. To create 1 channel for all of them, you can copy them from say channel 1 to channel 5. It really pays to have all of them on a seperate channel though, as adding an additional remote later on for just one or a selection of shades would be very easy. When they're all in a group, it would mean unplugging the ones that will not have a new remote. To copy a remote, check out this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/gJqgqJmaiaaWgpM.html
