    The fact that you don't want to try to cut the handles of the wood out to fit in the mold, tells me maybe the template needs to be a bit larger where the handles are.

    Can you use the ease release in the mixing cup as well to get all the epoxy out?

    Hello Sean! What I meant by drum sander is that it appears that you have a Laguna SuperMax drum sander next to your bandsaw in this video. do you use it to flatten material of cutting boards, etc? Are you happy with the unit?

    Sorry to ask a dumb question, but which link is to the flush trim bit with the 1/2 trim, and 3/8 bearing? TIA

  • @CraftedElements

    Matt, not a dumb question. The item as it is does not exist. You have to buy the 1/2" bit which comes with the 1/2" bearing. Then also buy a 3/8" bit from the same manufacturer. Ideally the bearing threads are the same (especially if you buy them from Amazon in a kit of 3 or 4 bits) and then you just use an allen key to swap them out.

    Where can i get that special offset trim router bit?

    You make it. Buy a 3/8" diameter flush trim bit, and a 1/4" and put the 1/4" bearing on it. Or buy a 1/2" and 3/8" flush trim bit, put the 3/8" bearing on the 1/2" cutter.

    After you apply the honey stain, do you set it on a cup? To allow the stain to breath or does that not leave a weird mark on what its placed on? Dumb question just never stained before 😅 i also will assume that its food safe

  • @CraftedElements

    It's not really a stain, its an oil, so you just rub it all in by hand all over. No need to set it on a cup. Set it somewhere to absorb for 20 minutes or so, then hand wipe and buff it all off.

    How about calling them "Barrel" template/Molds?

  • @CraftedElements

    @CraftedElements

    Hmmm... Possibly a decent name? I am concerned that people might assume its a cylindrical mold (for casting something that looks like a barrel) instead of a silhouette of a barrel. Good call though!
