Well clone and storm trooper Armour is literally plastic like it's got some ceramic mixed in for heat dispersion but slug throwers or guns are banned for a reason so it is like they'd work well

They don't really have ballistic weapons in the Star Wars universe. Like, in a way, they do, cause slugthrowers, but those are really primitive and kinda shite. Plus, most of your armor and shields is made to defend against the most obvious threat, that being blasters and other energy based weapons.

This sounds like a movie, Ww2 American, British, Japanese, Russian, and Germans band together and put their war aside for a while to fight a force that threatens the entire planet.

There so much thing that we use now because the army wanted to have before: aircrafts, internet (and even all long range comunication devices), spacecrafts (and all things linked around it, like GPS, Satelitte, not just the rocket).

Smart people will develop technology regardless, but war will merely cause the military to purloin their talent. In the absence of war innovation goes into fields which will make people's lives better, because that is marketable.

Fun fact: it seems that most of star wars Armored fighting vehicles have armor intended to dissipate heat quickly and only have basic abilities to resist kinetic projectiles. so our ww2 tanks would have no trouble against an AT-AT let alone our Abrams, T-64s, T-72s and T-80s, challengers, Leclerc etc.

Have to remember that kinetic weapons (even more so with high velocity anti tank rounds) would have no problem going through their vehicles. Since they are meant to defend against heat, energy and blaster fire

That doesn't mean that their armored vehicles would be vulnerable against ballistic weapons, if anything, armor that is strong against concentrated plasma would be even more durable against ballistic ammunition

Not really, only bullets made of certain materials were able to do that, and none of our bullets are made of metal with enough heat resistance to even become molted slag after passing by a lightsaber

The invaders just couldn’t break out of the town to attack the main force of the defending armied

it would be fun to see the stormtroopers trying to fight the brutality of ww1 trench warfare

This is Empire. Their fighters/bombers are slow in atmosphere and have no armor or defensive weaponry and very limited visibility as they were viewed as expendable.

I recommend you to create a video about earth vs Titan from ASV Warhammer mod. I tell you, it was glorious. When I put one Titan to attack a town full of german tanks and infantry, the result was total chaos and entire town was decimated. A huge metal robot with multiple turret on its body fired all around.

What lends this credibility is that the empire's equipment is rated for blaster fire and such, not kinetic and conventional weaponry. And lightsabers can't deflect bullets. However this only works in a ground attack scenario. If that were to just bombard the planet we'd be toast.

Realistically though, stormtrooper and clone trooper armor would have been able to easily shrug off infantry projectiles. Either that, or the Empire would have simply bombarded the surface from orbit.

Both the templin institute and generation tech concluded if not regular bullets armor piercing bullets can cut through plastoid armor something that would be mass produced in the event republic/empire try to invade Even the likes of vader can be taken out In a heated battle as powerful he is vader cannot focus while being shot from 360 different angles with varying distances While orbital bombardment would end earth/sol 3 resistance in a day it would render the planet uninhabitble and ruin the resources that could be useful to empire later down the line

Yeah the armor isn't going to take all the infantry weapons though I can't see that armor lasing long against things like the m2 browning or the mg42 it will bounce pistols rifles shrapnel ect but not on the scale of open battle like that I think

A couple of shells, like a couple of 255s can do wonders on a AT-AT's legs. A nuke or two, especially a Czar Bomba or two could do wonders on a Executor Star Destroyer/Battleship.

@@cinematicnpc juhuu im doin these myself too.. and earth defeats Republic with 4AT-TE with non armour support of their own.. just rocket launchers😄 and number disadvantege againts them But i noticed ...way before the SW mod units were tougher more deadlier now they re flying down like flies

Played on that map today. That fucking town is a death trap, is impossible to break out of it the only way I managed to do it was because of some Goliath x Panzergrenadiers spam but out of 5 full Panzergrenadier squads only 1 made it to the other objective alive (couldn't use tanks cuz of big Anti tank guns that were one tapping them, believe me I tried)

Il be fun if the enemies are those aliens from the anime strike witches

Id like to point out that the Empire was severely underpowered here. They wouldn't land with just 2 AT-Te's and 1 tank unit. The 2-M repulsor tanks would've been a better option plus they could strafe the enemy tanks much easier then they could swivel their turrets. Also they'd most likely have IDT Gunships which could rain laser and rocket fire on infantry and armor. Cool video though, nicely done.

Problem will be in airfield. Earth still not launched any air - space fighter's squadrons. Some things like TieAx1, TieAvenger and Tie SA bombers may terrorised defenders. And also AT-AT and AT-ion cannon may be deployed. Of course some ATGM will be adequate against legs but panzerfaust and bazookas from WW2 will be not adequate

E-11s are basically space STEN guns, those brits may have a connection to the events that just unfolded.

No the game doesn't have a sandbox. It has an editor where you can create maps and in this editor you can also simulate battles between different units

@@alp9173 Usually, they're just support vehicles when AT-TEs are used in combat situations like this, but then again, I'd guess this is early period when the Empire was just recently created so they have lots of Republic stockpiles

The victory of Earth in this video was not something planned. It's just that apparently star wars units have in general the same resistance as base game units. Especially when it comes to explosions. Since the result was interesting, I decided to use the video.

A glass window to protect the tank pilot like really? And the legs of the walker an armor piercing shell and the thing is broken… And there is the lack of artillery, mortars, machin-guns and don’t get me started with their wacky tactics they don’t even know what taking cover is! 40k is over the top but based on historical weapons and tactics. In this game the 40k mod depict the Korp with their artillery, trench warfare, mortars, heavy bolters, Leman Russ MBT, armored infantry transport, specialist weapon teams, pionniers and more. Tactic wise It’s artillery support to cover the advance while positioning heavy weapon support in strategic locations then infantry charge under artillery barrage to overwhelm enemy positions. Meanwhile ATTE is stuck on a fence…

@@clementbianchini8651 SW is based on WW2, so basically a WW2 in space, this reflects on most of the things that happen or the things that are in-universe, about the argument of the machineguns, the SW universe has a lot of automatic blasters, any person who watched a single SW movie or a battle scene can tell. The thing about impracticality, you can say there are some things like that, but tactics and equipment are not impractical, a good example is the imperial army trooper, they are based on modern soldiers, they are basically the actual grunts of the Empire unlike the Stormtrooper corps who are basically walking, talking propaganda shock trooper style unit, you could also see what Grand Admiral Thrawn, who may be the smartest tactician in all of Sci-fi. The thing about tactics, you are speaking about the early clone wars, it has an explanation in-universe, which is that the jedi who led the clones had no experience in leading large groups of soldiers who use blasters instead of light-sabers. In SW, you have artillery and mortars, you can see an imperial mortar trooper in an episode of the Mandolorian series. I can tell you have some sort of information about SW, but it is incomplete, SW is not all about the "Space wizards" fighting with "light swords", you can also have military lore, you also have a WW1 style trench battle, which is the battle of Mimban, fought by the Empire. The SW universe does not only have walkers, the walkers are only used in harsh terrian, they are called "All Terrain" after all. In case of tanks, you have hover tanks and traditional tracked tanks, they are not that commonly used because movie directors like using the big stuff. Basically what I mean is that SW is a more tame version of Warhammer 40k, which might make it a little realistic, but at the same time it has its own fictional stuff. About the part of the AT-TE, it is just the game lol, with mods Men of War can be buggy, realistically the AT-TE would just break the fence, this is just a funny moment lol. I actually suggest if you like Warhammer 40k like me, is to visit the SW universe for a bit, you can find a lot of things there, I especially recommend looking into SW legends material because you can find a lot of wild stuff there, you should also watch the new Andor series, it does not have any of the Jedi or Sith stuff, it mostly focuses on rebels and the Empire, it really shows that the Empire is not as incompetent as most people think, the Empire rules over a lot of territory, them being "classical cartoon villians" does not make sense.

Except the empire would simple shoot with the death star, with 0 losses on their side. Even if it would be a land battle (and not a movie), the empire would have such advanced tech that would allow them to engage outside range of any primitive kinetic weapon. You don't need kinetic resistant armor, when it can't even reach you.
