    Let your plants breed and evolve by always leaving the best male or two. Seedy pot is so much better than castrated pot, and your plants just get better every year.

    @@duncanedgin9433 No, completely correct. It is IMPOSSIBLE to grow good pot that has not been allowed to produce seed. The resin has a toxin in it called stropine. This is what will eventually go to make the shell of the seed. If you pull the males, the plant will not get rid of the stropine from the resin, and it will cause problems as it is a vasco -constrictor.

    It's so hard to find good quality cannabis in legal shops in 2023, despite having more legal dispensaries than ever before. I'm always stuck smoking junk. I would love to compile a list from all the cannacribs episodes and do a road trip to each state, rent a hotel room and try them all one by one. That would be SO MUCH FUN.

    Legalization was a double edged sword. You're getting cleaner gear. But these large corporations focus on quantity over quality. Also I think the hops virus has had a devastating impact on the industry overall. From what I can tell it's in everything now. Plants grown in chemicals cause changes in a plant's metabolism. It may take several generations of growing a plant used to chemicals to see the true results of humus, as opposed to chemicals. The plant is 'force fed' on ammonium nitrate, as if you were on a drip instead of eating. Chemicals cause atrophy in metabolic function. I doubt whether General Mills conducted more than superficial, cursory experiments. Big oil - big -drug companies - big corporations don't want organics. They certainly don't want home-grown pot either. ethermail (can't be deleted.)

  • @timothykappel198

    @timothykappel198

    @@RyanHellanderReptilesbecause organic soil just gives it a different better flavor. What you put it affects the flavor/smell. A grass fed cow is going to taste different than a grain fed cow and it's the same for plants.

  • @RyanHellanderReptiles

    @RyanHellanderReptiles

    Ай бұрын

    @@timothykappel198 I think I understand your thought process. The improved quality is due to living soil via bacterial and fungal metabolites. That can happen in organic but it doesn’t require it. The animal analogy is not relatable because grass and grain have very different nutrient differences. Organic and synthetic nutrients are identical at the molecular level. I personally use 90% organic processes and only use synthetic nutrients to correct any deficiency that usually occurs either shortly after flower building or very late near harvest because of it’s faster action and precise dose is helpful. I have tried many different pest control methods also and use more organic products if I have anything in flower and more synthetic chemicals between grows to basically sterilize my room. Happy growing!

Flash forward twenty years and I had a 20'x40' grow room all controlled by a 12 zone clock with Co2 enriched environment, two Sun circles with four 1000 watt HP sodium lights over 8 ea.4'x8' grow boards, a flood and drain system that yielded 12-15 pounds every 2.5 months. For my effort I received 2 fixed on 5 years and got a attaboy from the DEA. It's good to be free.

    Makes all the difference to let your plant breed. That is vital for visionary pot. Leave your best males, harvest when half the seeds are ripe, and you will get golden resin which crystalizes and is not sticky at all when dried properly,. Pretty innovative that they induce stress during early flower to increase yield. I think that's ballsy and took initiative to make a decision to grow like that. I don't think most commercial operations do this or do they seem to grow their plants long enough to full maturity. I'm told ten weeks max then chop.

    Ladies look skimpy and frail, and while the canopy has bud in it it could be packed more. Most growers don’t care to get the full potential of a plant. It would be nice to get a look inside a garden that does. These giant facility’s with weak growth patterns are not impressive. Find us some content on growers that truly care about the plant.

    The EC is very important. I personally believe in a less is more concept. But I grow at a very very low level. These are industrial operations so they have to be a lot more focused on the nutrition of each plant. But it also probably boils down to the atmosphere of where you are growing as all growers know that even the inside of a building is affected by outside elements. It also depends on your goals for each strand . Only been growing for a short time now so I’m betting there are strands that need more than others.

    Sorry but this is not how plants work. If you have your or any plant in growing conditions, they need food. And esp. with Cannabis it is so easy to find out EXACTLY what they need in YOUR environment, why let them starve? My pepper plants get proper food and they are not industrial :)

    i also don't like what he said in this video. more EC needs more run-off. which basically means, using tons of nutrients to end up wasting more of them too. i know large facilities aren't easy to deal with but damn! wasting this much nutrients must be a hole in the budget. and tbh, plants here didn't look healthy at all while packing a more than decent weight on them. good luck with rinsing process. they'll need more than 15 days to eliminate that. clealy they messed up at some point with the calmag or something because it looks like a calcium blockage. rust stains on leaves is a calcium abuse most of the time. wether it's with tap water or RO water.

    Organic, i.e. humus - real sunshine - allowed to breed - saving the best males. All the classic originals are seeded, and they are harvested when half the seeds are ripe. Properly bred plants do not have excessive seed. That is a characteristic of a desperate plant crying out to fools.

    @CannaCribs Everyone is entitled to an opinion. I will only add I have intimate knowledge of how a commercial grow operates at another Arizona facility which I am not at liberty to disclose without employer permission. These grows operate on a calendar, ready or not the plants come down on a prespecified day. Commercial cultivations rely on a regular rotation. 80% of commercially grown cannabis is processed into extracts where a dispensary’s real profits are made. Even fellow employees know an off-site, soil grown, organic plant will not only yield more weight, have a better terpene profile and have a higher THC percentage. Cream of the crop! I did have to 🤣 when the cultivator in this video boasted a low 20% THC content on the Grape Gas cultivar, mine test out at 32% for the exact same strain. OG California cultivators never have and never will grow cannabis with chemical nutrients, they also harvest when the plant says it’s ready. Good channel and yes I’m subscribed 🤠

    I'm no expert but looking at how plants grow in slowmotion they're obviously using the closing of stomata to uptake from the rootzone etc. Stomata regumllate all that in relation to environmental factors and mainly light. I'm not too sure if constantly open stomata is a great idea .lousy comment really and I don't think I've explained what I meant properly so I opologise but I'm sure you can kinda figure out what I'm getting at.
