    I always encourage people to grow there own, hell I taught people for years and some of the same guys now own companies lol. But not every company is out to just turn profits and make money. There are some of them that genuinely love people and the plant. They are the small batch, far and few right now. But that’s what me and some partners did. The three of us came together, got an idea and we are acting on it for 2024. Small batch, high quality, clean products, and consistency at a connoisseur level. That’s what you want to look for, find the Niche people that do it for the love and not the pockets. Just as you’d support your local brewery support your local small batch. If there isn’t one, shit get together with some good friends, draw up a business plan, pull your Capitol and start one. If we are doing it here in CA with our ridiculous ass policies, costs, and taxes I know any other state can. There are still those of us out there that grow actual fire, we are coming just hold on a little longer. One love, be safe out there.

    We all struggle. I can see that you are not happy with your situation. I can also say that you are not alone in how you feel and think about the world❤ I can promise that when your mind begins to change you will slowly begin feeling and thinking about life in a different way. Don’t complain about it! You have to get up and go do something for yourself! You can’t sit and complain about something when you have the opportunity to change. I was passive aggressive and had a very negative attitude towards everything. Once I started discovering MINDFULNESS: My entire world and view of the world changed. I had the shittiest of attitudes and nobody could tell me otherwise.After all I did go to prison that should have accounted for something right?!?! Once I got my mind right I began to feel thankful for EVERYTHING in my life.The smaller the object the more thankful I am! I also noticed that every time I felt down or lonesome I would come up with objects or things that I was thankful for and began stating all of the things I was grateful for. Once you start thinking about being grateful for something it gives you a dopamine boost and you realize that your negative thoughts may have been your selfishness trying to show it’s ugly cunning side. Passion,Perseverance, Gratitude,Love,Respect,Honor,honesty ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I didn’t want anything to do with mindfulness. I’m so Thankful that I took the time to learn how to be mindful and I hope that it can bring you the same amount of happiness and peace that it brings me every day ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

    I was making live resin BHOin 1999 in Puyallup Washington . People didn’t like it because it still had high ppd and caught fire. We eventually realized that atmospheric pressure was a major factor In manipulation of removing butane from the oil. We then decided to vacuum out At lower temperatures close to puget sound which is perfect because of the sea level. The closer to sea level the better the vacuum

    Butane-extracted products may contain residual adulterants even after the butane is completely removed and the product passes testing. Remember, this stuff is very loosely regulated, and not much is known about the long-term effects of consuming such substances, regardless of what an extract "lab manager" tells you.

    Stevenanderson The way extraction companies are extracting oil now a days. I would think that there is very little of what they used to do the extraction with, left in the finale product. The real problem is what these companies are using to cut ( dilute ) there finale product with. Some of the products they are using to cut their products with. Have been approved to sell to the public. But in products like lotions and makeup. But the biggest problem with using these cut products is. There have never been any testing or research in regards to what happens to these products when heat has been introduced to them. Do you people here that. No test or research. That means that all these lame state governments have NO CLUE on what they are doing. So be careful.

    @@CannaCribs Absolutely, I appreciate the strides the industry already has made towards more sustainable practices. It's fantastic to see modern indoor farming evolving in these ways, and I understand the need to meet the demands for a consistent and high-quality product. However, I believe there's still room for growth when it comes to sustainability. While efficient lighting and advanced cultivation techniques are steps in the right direction, factors like sophisticated HVAC systems and rock wool cultivation do still raise concerns in terms of long-term environmental impact. Finding the balance between delivering a standardized product and reducing the ecological footprint might be challenging. At the same time, I assume that shifting the expectations of consumers towards more sustainable practices is essential. As responsible stewards of both the industry and the planet, I think it's crucial for all stakeholders to continue pushing for innovations that not only uphold quality and consistency but also prioritize sustainability for the long haul. Your video showcases impressive advancements, and it's discussions like these that contribute to raising awareness about the need for a more environmentally conscious approach within the cannabis industry. Thanks for your thoughtful response, and let's hope that ongoing dialogue can drive positive change in this direction.

I'd much rather see a smaller operation that's taking the time to grow naturally/organically and don't use a ton of solvents for extracts. The whole point of medical cannabis is to get people away from pharmaceuticals, not to turn cannabis into a pharmaceutical.

    The plant at 4:28 looks like the trichomes are growing trichomes. Unreal. This is is not related to the video, but: The pharmacy had a new strain in store and I needed a new prescription. I am too old for these new names but I got some 8-Ball Kush. Back in the days an eiht-ball was something different.

  • @nicod686

    @nicod686

    9 ай бұрын

    8 ball Kush still is. All these “new” strains are Polyhybrids of the SAME genetics over and over and over. That’s why they don’t really stand out from one another. “cake”, “dough”, “sweet”, “gas”, “grape”, “orange”, and sometimes “minty”. It’s the same recycled sets of genetics causing stagnation in the industry. Long gone are strains that literally stood out from one another off merit of the terpenes alone, not a name. I remember smoking Tennessee Hogs Breath once and the jar smelled offensive lol, but smoke would get you blasted. You know that good stank that just burned your nose hairs. Or opening up a jar of Sour Diesel and across the room someone’s like “yo who got the gas?!”. No fancy names, no clever marketing, just super fire indoor grown goodness. That’s why me and a few partners are starting a new “old” company in 2024. We are using modern plant science and oldschool cultivars, breeding techniques, and love for the plant. Why? Because no one’s doing it the way I was taught anymore. Everyone got big and stopped caring about quality and just want quantity. We are treating this company like we would want to be treated and not for production. Unmatched quality, Small batch, small scale. Pretty much taking a home grow and making it larger is what we are doing. Not to large that we lose our identity but larger than a garage like back in the day (if you know… you know 😊).

  • @MrEiht

    @@nicod686 I got some wedding cake blabla a few weeks ago. I was more than surprised since this should have been something new. But it had the same smell than one of the 3 first strains I grew 25 years ago. Back then it was called Citral since it came from a strain in Pakistan, from that city. You would never ever forget it, because it has a more citrus-y smell than a urinal puck. I mean nothing known to mankind smell THAT citrus-ish.

  • @nicod686

    @nicod686

    9 ай бұрын

    @@MrEiht yeah that’s why I breed unique strains that are off the “path” of the industry. I have Skunk, Mushroom, Earth, Leather, Honey, spices, Vanilla, and lime present in some of my more unique strains. I’m a gamer and the one thing I always loved was the grind. I don’t like new games because they are so easy and dumbed down for commercial hobby gamers. Us hardcore guys largely got erased right? I feel the same thing happened in Cannabis. The hardcore connoisseur got erased in favor of commercial production for the masses. So “popular” terpenes were targeted with “lato” or “ookies” or Z somewhere in the name to sell to the masses. I’m essentially making a small batch “studio” to bring back connoisseur level cannabis to a market that desperately needs it. It’s a niche sure, but I feel like we will be successful because we genuinely give a shit. We were born of this industry, it made us the men we all are today so why wouldn’t we want to restore the culture back to its origins and get away from all the hype? Like I have said before I think Small- Small/medium batch local canna brands are going to eventually take over. Sure there may be a few “Budweisers” out there still, but us smaller batch guys can make it if we just band together, stick to the origins and produce Quality over quantity. That means no more easy cash grab games aka Gen Z weed 🤣.

    How do y'all get the bug out before drying?? Always wanted to try some these but wasn't sure. Aphids tend to hit my outdoor patch I sprayed a couple times this year and doing well but I find the odd one or two. They into week 2 and 3 now so I don't want to be spraying to much

    Aphids are born pregnant and multiple astronomically. Once they are in the flower cycle you can't spray on the bud. In vege there are many things you can do. In this video that we are watching they use predator mites to go after the aphids in the flower stage. If you decide to go this route it's was around $100 or so the last time I tried it. You will want to make paper cones for the predatory mites be placed in, as they come in ground up corn Cobb particles. The most important thing to do is is end infestation before putting any new plants into the flower stage and just perpetuate the problem problem!

    You might should just cut your losses, that is if you plan on growing another crop right behind it. That way it can all be finished. Don't keep the weed that has the aphids even in your home. Because they can still infested again. Clean up everything like crazy. If you use a tent, then seal it all up and turn on the lights at full power for forty eight hours. They should kill anything in there. But make sure to clean under the liner as well. Around all the lights and everything. If you use a scrogg net then you should wash them in bleach water. If you're going to reuse them again.ect...,

I was asking how he gets the predator mites they use in the indoor off the plants before they cure them??? Do they dip them to kill them or what? Ide like to try the mites outside but how do you make sure it's clean before dry?

    @ryanrobitaille5903 You might also freezing the crop right after you harvest it and then. Make bubble hash out of it. There is a 220 micron screen that takes out most of trash. I would think that should catch the Aphids with it, leaving the rest clean ( check with a Microscope ($30) as long as the majority of the tricones are cloudy its good. This scenario is best if you have access to a freeze dryer

    Some people like me that are plant scientists and breeders have them, yes. Can you buy them readily? Depends, are you in CA for one of the seed drops? No one grows a 12-14 week flowering strain commercially. I have them for small batch runs of high quality Sativa. It takes very particular environmental conditions, time, and VERY specific nutrient requirements to produce them. The average person doesn’t want that level of difficulty. So to sum it up…. yes you can, but you likely wouldn’t know what to actually do if you had one (not to be a dick I’m just stating a fact).

But for us (I’m a Environmental Scientist) environmental impact was a huge concern. My 2024 facility is the lowest possible carbon footprint I could make it while still putting in the work to make small batch absolutely fire. The future is going to be supporting your local small batch canna business.

    They won’t ever really tell you what they put on there plants or why. Unless there trying to sell you something. Hence the links to all his wears. It’s all “preventative” I’m sure. Spraying neem oil is not beneficial for the plant. Unless your trying to solve a problem you have. It’s counter productive to the maximum potential of the plant. Most growers in these settings can’t get a plant to achieve maximum health or vigor because of the growing techniques they have to use to cultivate at this scale. Leading to strains becoming rundown and weakened. Which is why they have to walk on egg shells spraying there plants. Creating a sterile and stable environment is key, most companies fail there first, and have to battle with the reproductions stemming from that. Insects/pathogens.
