The maximum oxygen of 35% was reached towards the end of the Carboniferous period (about 300 million years ago. Then decreased to current levels. I know you know that but the graph doesn’t reflect it. Also we didn’t have arthropods 800 millions ago. The earlier ones are from 555 millions ago.

Yes, the graph is simplified to get across the general timeline. I stand corrected on the arthropods' arrival though. Thanks for letting me know!

Very well done.Even though I’m familiar with the material, I enjoyed listening to it in review. I’ve been collecting videos on the greenhouse gas effect and global warming for my blog. Here’s my current explanation of the greenhouse effect: Search- samslair blogspot greenhouse gas blanketing effect
