Hold on. Why did they hire him? There are tens if not hundreds of thousands of game devs at or above his level. There is nothing to recommend this guy above anyone else, and they hired him when he's only months from leaving for the military. And, the only thing I can see that would make him relevant to the project is the fact that he has a history with the people who are warning others that Earth 2 is a scam. It's important to listen to what he say's when defending the kid: "Apparently some models where used without the correct licensing in the game and this became the main point of focus, even if this was true you have a ambitious 15 year old kid here, give him some feedback and let him continue on" In other words "We totally agree on stealing, It's nothing to be ashamed about, it's being ambitious". They knew exactly who they got onboards, they are by all means a band of thieves, each and everyone involved. The CEO is a massive crook, he doesn't give a fuck about the reputation of his company cause he knows in a bit he will have the big money and runs off. "You are bullying a kid" the kid claimed to be mature, another statement to try and gain pity and to show "See we are the good guy's we give him a opportunity where others try to destroy him". Everything this CEO say's is just BS. He is okay with someone lying about him that could hurt his company very badly and instead focuses on outside sources who cover it and even say's "They did so without knowing the facts". The facts were that a employee who got hired a few day's ago made claims that you were gonna sue. Those are the facts, the facts are out there, a official member of the staff made a claim and said it was legit. Another fact, a company with a bad reputation deemed it a smart move to hire a guy that was having a even worse reputation. Then hide behind "I don't know the guy very well" then who the fuck hired him and why wasn't there a background check hm? You aren't exactly in a favorable position, I would be very careful with who I would associate me if my company would have a bad reputation already and me claiming we are legit. I would hire respected people instead of those who have a reputation of stealing, lying and harrassing.

If Tanner continues this shit publically while supposedly being in the military, that will be the end of his career extremely quickly. Australian military does not put up with this kind of public stupidity at all. Not to mention, none of it makes sense. With a history like his, I highly doubt he was accepted in. Secondly, why would he be hired onto "the biggest game development undertaking ever seen" just before he goes off to basic training with the military? So to get on the same page here, E2 just hired a guy that will be leaving with basically no contact for 3 months, then shipped off to his job training for multiple years and will not have any time at all to work on the development of the game. How does this make any sense at all?

My favoueite past time when I was a young teenager was scamming people. You can't blame a teenager for.scamming someone its something every teenager does.

"Why don't you just criticize him and be on your way?" That's LITERALLY all he did. That's *LITERALLY* the main point of his channel, review early access games to see if they're worth it or not. These developers and their fans are the ones who are making everything worse by trying to silence their critics in the most asinine way. It's funny in a strange roundabout way, you and the other KZreadrs show more journalistic integrity than most of the other journalists who would rather attack their audience and blow small things inside the games way out of proportions

We investigated ourselves, and we found out that we aren't a scam. Yeah, it checks out... Oh, and the f***ing audio, can't a 'millionaire' buy a mic and a cam, not straight out 03. Damn it buy a phone at least...

That doesn't look like a room of someone who's got millions to spare for a lawsuit :D

So I have watched a few of your videos in the past and never ended up subscribing. You just popped back up on my feed here today and I didn't think to much of it because I had watched several videos of yours for a while there. Having watched the last video and then this one I was shocked to hear about Monogon. Tanner actually reached out to me earlier this month about featuring a video on Monogon on my channel. I had been holding off to see how development continued with the project because I wasn't really impressed by what I had seen. So having this pop up and finding out its made by the same guy makes me happy I held off on it!

I send you my deepest apologies for messing up your 420 like count. T'was a hard decision to like this great video, but it had to be done. Now I shall live with this shame for the rest of my years.

The thing is. These guys definitely could make a game considering the amount of money they’re pulling in. It definitely is not going to be the Matrix. That’s fantasy if not a straight up lie. But now by being blatantly disingenuous and incompetent they are killing any kind of credibility that they possibly could’ve had.

Only losers who know they're losing resort to calling their critics bullies.

If a 15 year old can’t stand up for himself against drama he got into willingly in today’s age than that’s kinda his own fault. You can’t consider it bullying when he took the initiative to fight back instead of making any of the reasonable decisions to either ignore online drama or work on his project to prove the people criticizing him wrong.

If I´d be found out talking like that about CEO of company I worked in, I wouldn´t be just fired. I´d probably get sued and no other big company would even invite me for an interview.

If one of my employees went on the internet and said I was about to spend millions of backer dollars on a baseless defamation lawsuit, when I had zero plans to do so, they would have not only been fired but I would have sued them myself for slander. This guy goes out and pretends it's someone else's voice in one breath and then defends the kid with the next. Total scam here.

I feel if you have to say " we are not a scam" you most definitely are!

As someone who was bullied in middle school I know how damaging it can be, however there is a difference in bullying and calling someone out. I don't care what age you are, if you do something wrong you need to be called out on it. This is why a lot of young people are so messed up today because they are not held responsible for their actions and think they can do whatever they want and honestly, that only hurts them in the long run.

Wait let me sum it up: A dude in his basement is running a "company" that developing a game that he affirm is definitely "not a scam" though it cannot match his agenda. Said game is being developed by known "definitely not scammers" devs that have past experiences of not finishing game and stealing assets. And that dude will not sue you even though you clearly lying about his company... Makes total sense to me. I'm in where do I buy tiles?

So he hired the kid on a trial basis, the kid got caught lying about the company being involved with a lawsuit, and the CEO is more pissed off about an illegal recording and bullying. I feel like I've heard this one somewhere before. Can't put my finger on it.

You can only guess whats going on in those heads... or not going on.
