We rebuild both of Sam's doors with all new rubber and Bailey channel, install the front window and rear back wall with new rubber seals Brought from RSA (Rubber Seals Australia)

Hi Jayson, another great episode, have you had to repair to hole that the door hinge slides into. I have just repaired both floor well rust spots and need to do the hinges slot. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Dave.

I have on this one, but have in the past on an FJ40, not easy to remove. Small movements and Patience on the bolt remove and magnetic on a stick to reinstall.
Ya reckon the vents look cool.. i have two on each of my landies

I would buy the bug catcher window gasket. I Got the kit that you cut your self at cruiser outfitters and it turned out OK but I would rather get the full UN cut gasket. Do they have contact information?

Where do you get the rubber to hold that extra wind vent in the bottom of the windshield frame? I have a 64 with one and that rubber is broken.

Sorry, are you talking about the window bump stop rubber? At the bottom if the door?

@@40ChannelCruiser No, I'm talking about the air vent that is located in the bottom center of the windshield. It's that wide manual vent just above the dash. It's a top mount rubber. Mine needs replacing. Also, I was wondering if it would be easy to switch a right hand drive to a left hand drive if I were to purchase an early FJ45 like your truck from Australia and ship it back to the USA? Not that many of those hear in the USA.

@robertlaird6746 Oh, sorry mate, got ya. No, I didn't replace that rubber it is still in one piece and looks o.k. but you could make a new rubber seal by using the old one as a template and cutting out a new one out of some flat rubber and glueing in place with some 8401. Hope that makes sense and helps.
