@@chiroyce well ion have them myself so take this with a grain of salt but if u want noise cancellation then they're not as good but from what I've seen the sound quality is definitely there

This is really cool! I love watching these behind the scenes videos, understanding why a decision was made, how it impacts things and what does it overall mean. I love how you kept all of the main components about a tws earbud product simple. The earbuds are where you'd expect them, they're placed in a predictable manner, they have support with the indent and the little plastic bit that extend out and the lid is just a lid. The only parts you messed around with are the ones that wouldn't alter user experience much or diminish it. Like extending the outer lip, which looks great, looks like it's sort of vacuum sealed. Or how the lower case is coloured but it's placed inside a clear body, giving it that nothing transparent feel while still giving it a new touch. I also really appreciate how the actual buds themselves have a slight Matt like coating because those glide on the skin much better than glass or smooth plastic like surfaces which stick. That should mean that putting them in the ear probably feels much nicer than a smooth plastic one. I hope you continue to do these breakdowns because I love them! I want to do this someday, all of it looks so much fun 😊

My right bud on that thing slowly died after 3 months. The volume went lower everyday (edit) Case design was good though.

The one problem with any earbuds is that little mesh cover on the hole, it's hard to clean, and most of the time it comes off when you clean it, did you guys addressed that in anyway?

Hi @nothing / Carl, I admire your innovation so much. Can we expect a neckband from Nothing that includes noise cancellation, multipoint connectivity, and a microphone with controls near the mouth? For example, something similar to the OnePlus Bullets Z, but not like the Z2. I really want to purchase nothing buds but it is not that practical when i use my helmet while traveling. When i search something of Good quality headphones all i see is boat in the market which are decent but doesn't have good quality ANC and while traveling other persons are listening all the sounds while on call.

i really really urge you to look into the opening mechanism of your packaging. there surely is an even more satisfying way to open a box. the pull strip feels really cheap to me and i get anxiety all the time to rip off the mechanism halfway through. i bet there is an even better clever mechanism that gives you more of the fresh pop feeling you aspire to design that i would love to see on future devices. something like a magnetism or vaccuum and a slide out process instead of a gravity fall down.

Now I want a yellow Nothing phone

Every time a product is released, I always think of ideas and it has to be based on what I feel, just like my job, I do have different ideas but I also have to reach my audience so that it fits them. my formula A+B = C C is my version

I hope someday nothing launches a small form factor of nothing phone, I really love the brand but I am done using big phones (I have the s21 ultra) and that's the reason I don't buy the nothing phone, until there, nothing ear is the only nothing product that I love to use and I will keep using until the day I die

Why didn't you get the S21 regular then? Also big phones don't sell cause they have shorter battery lives, smaller screens, and often have to compromise even in terms of cameras and other feature (wireless charging, for example) to make everything fit. AND because they don't sell well, even if priced lower than their bigger brothers (cause people expect smaller things to cost less, even though that's not how technology miniaturisation works), for them to be a viable financial decision, it would have to cost more than the bigger phones. A significant amount more. Cause economies of scale and all that. So, are you willing to pay MORE for a phone that's got less of everything. Just to have it smaller?

​@@truegamer_007 I understand your point and at the time i thought a bigger phone was better but now i think it is a pain in the ass because of the size, I often have to take out the phone of the pocket when i am seated because its uncomfortable. But ya you are right, it is economic unviable to a company make a smaller phone. In my case i am willing to pay more because I understand how this works, but ya, in a general public smaller phone equals an smaller price tag which it's not true specially in this days. So for me i hope they still make a smaller phone ahahahah. Because in this moment my top priority in a phone is buying a small phone.

Apple had two whole generations of Minis that were always 4th fiddle in lineup shots, barely had advertisements and also very often were out of stock at retailers Zenfone is already a niche product so it'll always sell poorly compared to the big guys, and Samsung's smaller line of phones is always the weakest.

What I'm struggling with is ear(3) (which isn't called 3), What's the difference between it and ear(2) ? Besides LDAC, i'm not sure I would see any significant change if I upgraded Even heard a guy say the drivers were smaller in size

I had earbuds that were black and I scared of losing it all the time the yellow stands out so if I accidentally drop it it’s easier to find as it stands out. it’s not my favorite color I would like a nice cyan if I can but honestly I would take the yellow.

NE(2) I wish I could disable push controls in full, annoying. And mine doesn’t remember the ANC settings while out of the case, I don’t even understand what mode is on, always random. Software issues, same as NP(1).

Since modern products don’t have the Jack I don’t think that’ll happen. They’re a mobile focused company.

I wish the Nothing Phone 3a can customise the glyph color that we want, long battery life, no bloatwares, improve camera software, with dual view video, ois/eis, good processor, huge ram and internal memory and not super expensive. Just only my wish Carl Pei and to Nothing Team. Thinking in advnce. Thank you.

My nothing phone 1 which is just 13 months old starts suddenly switch on off by itself then I visited service centre they told me it's mother board is damaged...now they are asking for huge price... I don't understand how it's mother board is damaged by itself so quickly I am really frustrated by this company their customers service can't even help you

the biggest problem with nothing's earbuds is that they're so good-looking you wouldn't want to scratch up the case

Owner of nothing ear (1), i like them a lot. But there were 2 problems. First was that both earbuds unglued themselves about after a year of use. Being crafty I just super-glues them back, and they still work and I use them. But the second thing was something I disliked about their case, that it was not openable with just one hand. I hope this version can be opened with just one hand. Otherwise, they look cool!

The main problem that I have with their design is ... The outer shell of earbuds are in 2 components that come apart .... Applying the adhesive ruins the mic that is near to it .... Any1 else facing this problem with ear 1s?
