Just came back from this game. What an incredible experience, so many Eagles fans. Love the international crowds from all over the world...Good for the sport and for these players who some have never travelled outside the US.

Agree, and shout out to Rasul Douglas- Is it me, or is it every time I have watched him in a game, he does nothing but make big plays? I've heard many critics of his this year, and I still do not understand why. All he did last year in limited rookie season time was make big plays. I catch the end of the game today, and he's reading the screen perfectly and lining up to prevent the 3rd down conversion with a perfect hit/tackle. I still don't know how this guy hasn't gotten more playing time. I'd go as far as to say that he's my favorite secondary player besides Jenkins.

@Matthew Stratton - I heard, at least the argument is, that he is not as fast? I don't know for sure, but that was an argument someone gave one time, albeit just a random commenter...but I truly mean it when I say, that this guy has done nothing but impress me every time he has played going back to early last season. I thought that bc he was just a rookie and they had veterans last year, that was the reason why he didn't play much, so I was anticipating that he would receive a lot more playing time this year- his second season in the league. When the secondary struggled early on (and continue to), I thought for sure he would be put in there as a replacement, but they haven't used him. I don't get it. I've never seen a player get such limited playing time, but when they put him in the game, all he does is make big plays in key situations. Btw, after I posted this, I also saw him (in the highlights) make a key pass break up in the end zone on 3rd down where he just came right in and batted the ball out of the hands of the receiver, another excellent play.

@@dbullock899 - Yeah, but I don't buy it. Only way to see what the rookie has got is to play him. And with the limited time I've seen him play, all he does is make big plays in critical situations. Really, that's all I've seen him do- whether it's an INT, a big pass defended, a perfect read and tackle like today, that's all I've ever seen him do.

Can't blame Bortles when Keelan Cole fumbles on their side of the field and Chark drops an easy TD.

Bortles is a big problem, poor decisions and poor throws, the only thing he was decent at was on the move inside the pocket. since the titans loss bortles has been garbage, it took a poor jets team for us to win it.

The other was Peyton Manning in 2012.... i'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Carson Wentz is really good. Maybe even the best in football right now.

Wentz is so special. Knew it when I first checked his games at NDSU. Stars continue to impress you even when you think you cant be more impressed. Shady was the same way. The crazy thing is hes arguably playing better than last season despite being on the team that leads the league in Qb hits. The difference is the team isnt winning like last season. If they get on a roll and make the playoffs he'll definitely be in the MVP conversation again.

The eagles have lost all of their games by less then a touchdown. Had the offensive line played better this year and Wentz didnt miss the first two games, the eagles would be undefeated. No question. Wentz also probably would have over 20 touchdowns. He already has better stats then Dak prescott haha. Oh well, good game eagles

Packers should have beat them and almost shut them out the first have. Dawson Garret shouldn't say teams should be something when they aren't. I can easily say the browns should be undefeated but they aren't. I get why you say it tho. If the oline and secondary actually played mediocre the eagles would be 7-1 and the one loss coming from the buccs because the eagles just didn't have enough starters and let's not mention the horrendous refs. If Wentz was healthy at the beginning the eagles would've beat the buccs in a shootout assuming the secondary plays terribly making them 8-0. Things happens and there's nothing you can do about so we should be grateful the eagles aren't any worse

The only thing that bugged me a little bit was how on the eagles podcast reflecting on the game, the huge numbers of Eagles fans at the game, and they kept talking about how many Eagles fans travel to follow the team. No mention of us European Eagles fans! But Coach Peterson said that he appreciated the support from the European Eagles fans who were at Wembley!

Wentz seems to be taking crazy risks week in, week out. But if he keeps his passer rating in the triple digits every Sunday, more Ws are bound to come the Eagles' way than they picked up in recent weeks.

That's the double edged sword. Yeah there are times where holding on to the ball will get him hit/picked/sacked but when he makes something happen with it.....boy does he make something happen with it. He's essentially a more accurate version of Favre, and I can live with that.

@@thepassingstatic6268 I'm with you there. Here and there, confer the 4th quarter against the Panthers, the risk taking boils over into genuine poor decision making but, as I said, if he keeps playing at this level, it will be a winning season at the very least.

Carson is not quite there yet. Aaron Rodgers is still on another level. I do believe that Wentz will get there, maybe as soon as next year. He makes the throws just not as consistently as Rodgers. Fly EAGLES Fly!!!

Wentz should play strong side line back. That was a perfect break down tackle and he knew how to get off the block.

If the jags were all healthy as well the Texans the Texans are better simply by the QB. Bortles will find a way to lose the game trust me. Just ask the Texans when they almost beat the Patriots in the playoffs two years ago if it wasn't for them having "Brock Osweiler" at QB. The only reason the Jags made it as far as they did last year is that Watson (who was on Pace to having rookie MVP season) got hurt. Trust me Bortles is the weak link to the Jags. I'll take a healthy Texans all day.

When Bortles plays well his WRs can't catch a cold. When Bortles has even the slightest off-day he gets no help and his problems are magnified. If Bortles is not PERFECT, the entire city of Jacksonville turns on him even when it isn't his fault. He's blown plenty of games but to blame him for every single loss AND refuse to credit him with the wins is disgraceful.
