He's never kicked better than he did in that first part of 2014. IIRC he missed a couple of critical kicks down the stretch of that season, and he was off the Eagles before 2015 was over

I remember when we were down 17-0 at the half. Some undrafted WR destroying the secondary. Eagles fans mouths were wide open like what the hell 😂

Even back in 2014 it looks like Foles was killing teams with the RPO.

As a Jags fan, this was one of the team’s most embarrassing losses in history, but knowing that Foles is now our QB makes me feel a bit better.

P JB A big problem last year with the Jags was losing Cam Robinson Week 2 against the Pats. From Week 2 onward, their season fell apart. If Cam can get back to where he was in 2017, the Jags will be great. As much as I’m happy for Nick Foles, I think Blake Bortles got scapegoatted. Last year, he had a bad o-line and Fournette was inconsistent. The Rams though did get a solid backup QB who won two playoff games.

The great story behind this game is the Eagles were 10.5 point favorites. So towards the end it seemed like the final was going to be 27-17 and anyone who had bet on the Eagles would’ve lost by half a point. Until that strip sack and fumble recovery TD

I thought Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson would be good for years for the jags. Both had 1,000 yard receiving totals this season; thought this would be the start of something good, I hung on to whatever positives, we were so bad during these years. And looking back on it, the Jags were lacking in talent, severely.

I understand your frustration but I forgot, and maybe you did too, that he was coming off an ACL injury the year prior. Heck, b4 I remembered he was injured, I totally was done with him. But it takes 2 years to completely heal from an ACL tear. He should be ready to go 100% this year. We'll see by midseason if he should just retire after this year.
