Both QBs as Rookies this was a big division game. The Eagles had a good 2016 start at 4-2 and the Cowboys at 5-1. I remember being excited to watch this game

I miss this Zeke.This Zeke was powerful had had a burst of speed when he saw an open field. Zeke now is sluggish and I havent seen that a powerful burst in forever.

That’s not the only game where the eagles make the cowboys fumble, clearly recover the ball, and the refs overturn it.

As an Eagles fan, this was definitely a top 5 - top 3 game of that year. It was right on par with the 2018 matchup. Phenomenal game

Watched it live and loved it, watched it 4 years later and still love that game winning TD!

It just makes me so happy to look back on this.

This was a great game, my Eagles weren't good and Dallas was the best team in the NFC that year but the game was still competitive and great! The NFC East always has the best head to head matchups!

If Romo played this game Dez would’ve had 200 yards the way he was burning those defensive backs

I remember the range of emotions I experienced watching this game like it was yesterday.

The start of the best quarterback rivalry in the nfl Wentz vs Dak

Interesting to see how 2 promising rookie qbs have changed from their 1st years to their 4th. Dak Prescott struggled gunning the ball to a reciever he floated a lot of passes, he struggled a lot with accuracy downfield and was shut down with a blitz a lot. He did show thow great touch on some passes and a great ability to extend plays and not force the ball downfield. Carson wentz on the other hand didnt really float balls he gunned em almost everytime and theres a lot of checkdowns he should have taken some heat off of the throws. He also wasnt amazingly athletic or superb at extending plays. Tho he was certainly a lot more accurate albeit it with a number of passes being low. He did have a slow and long release. Ultimately theyve both fixed their issues for the most part and have grown a lot

The Eagles did not look like a team a year away from a championship which makes the job Howie and Doug did even more impressive. Wentz had 2 players on offense with a pulse Ertz and Sproles

Wentz as a rookie looks much more fluid and confortable compared to now. That ACL injury completely destroyed him physically and mentally.

Back when Zeke was a pitbull with cheetah speed and Dak did less thinking and relied on instinctive reactions, with great success. Very efficient that entire year with few turnovers. Miss that shit

Zeke was the best player on the field this game IMHO. Wentz looked really good too, just got screwed over by having Jordan Matthews as a poor fit for a WR1. It's no coincidence that Wentz improved once the Eagles brought in Alshon Jeffery the next season.

Brennan McKinney well they scored their first TD on it earlier and Dak wasn’t great passing or reading the field in the redzone or tight windows at that point in his career... wasn’t a bad play call necessarily and I’m not a Jason Garret fan lol. They were just using Daks greatest strength and hoping they’d bite on Zeke in the redzone again behind a good o line.
