Tipic italian work of this era: the movie "C" classe, but fantastic music score!

I like this exciting theme song very much.Demonstrated the unyielding spirit of the British people in the face of the mighty invaders.

Paradoxically, although a Z movie, the Dunkirk beach scenes look the part much more than the aseptic Nolan's version (which is still a far superior movie). Also, for a movie of this kind, the budget mustn't have been THAT low, they even got the planes, like in "Battle of Britain". Can't understand why they painted the spanish Messerschmitt as british planes and the british Spits as germans. Fun fact, in Italy this movie came out as "La Battaglia d'Inghilterra" (Battle of Britain) while the actual Battle of Britain came out with a less catchy title "I lunghi giorni delle aquile" (The long days of the Eagles). Anyway, great score!

The buchon were painted as an Hurricane Polish Raf squadron (seems that some of them were used also to fill the wing of Hurricanes flying for the English movies, in this case were flying in the far side out of the view, because in UK they had only two flyable hurricanes

Love the shot of London with the, then, Post Office Tower in the background.. but as a laugh out loud 'war' film as in some cases its up there with the 'Carry On films' which is a shame as it must have cost a few bob even then to make with all the hardware, true some of it is not applicable to the period, but there you go..

Most times Vic, I am able to fashion a suite from my existing soundtrack collection and other times I have to source what I can from an actual movie and then again sometimes it's a combination of both.

Nice movie and astounding soundtrack. Maybe it was not much accurate with historical ratio { as it was the movie realized in UK " The Battle of Britain"} but it is a piece of the art, filmed with the armed force of Spain effort which provided military equipment ( Mauser rifles K. 98, and aircrafts Hispano de Aviación "buchon", a very similar aircraft to German bf109)

With films like this, are you posting a suite taken from the recording of the soundtrack, or do you fashion a suite directly from the film itself?

The Movie itself is quite dubious... German officers looking rather like Italians, but whats more, Messerschmitts with british markings!!! (actually, the spanish license built version of the Me 109) and as ennemies, Spitfire models whit black crosses!!!
