EaganMatrix Programming for Osmose - Programming Gestures

There's a nice video on the Expressive E site that demonstrates the various Osmose gestures, however most of these need to be programmed into a preset. This video presets some of the main ways (there are others) to create and/or configure the ten Osmose Gestures presented on the Osmose site: Tap (Scaled Z SGs), Press (Z Control), Press & Tap, Pitch (vibrato), Aftertouch (Y Control), Shake (Derivative control), Strum (Stepped Z functions), Pressure Glide (Pressure Portamento), Note Off (Release on Z and other options) and various custom combinations of all of the above.
Go here to get the "Simple Strum" example preset if you want it: patchstorage.com/simple-strum...

Thanks for all your work. I’m waiting for my osmose to be delivered. I’m watching through all of your videos so I’ll have a head start on the Eagan Matrix when it arrives. They’re all useful, but I hope you do more on the osmose! Thanks for all the work you’ve put in. These videos are a great resource. 👍

Thanks. They all will be Osmose related or useful on Osmose from here on.

Incredibly helpful stuff!! I was anticipating learning the editor to be a huge challenge but it has been both easier than I thought and incredibly fun, all thanks to your videos and cookbook. I'm super keen to learn more, thanks for putting in all this work!

Thanks. Most people have the wrong idea about it. It's so much easier and deterministic then twiddling knobs, menu diving or patching a hundred or more cables. And they keep adding more and more features.

@@eaganmatrixprogramming Yeah I accidentally clicked on an empty user bank slot while working on a patch earlier, and was able to recreate it from memory so quickly. Very satisfying. Not the same experience as wanting to recreate a sound after pulling out all your patch cables. I think some of the fear about it's complexity probably comes from all the articles and reviews about the Osmose. Writers will probably just take one look at it and decide learning it is not worth the investment for the article. Or just read someone else's article/review and parrot it. Soundonsound has "Full patch editing on Mac/PC only, via Max, and will require investment of time, and courage." listed in their cons about the Osmose.

Thank you for these vids, I wander if there is possibility to add to next video any possibility of “feedbacking” the master section especially the recilculator to create reverb with longer tails or how to modulate reverb, I can create a decent reverb with bank c but I’m looking for even longer tail, thanks

I'm off this for a month or so, but I can look into a video on delay, recirculation and feedback on Osmose when I start in again making videos. You have tried feeding band C back into itself (be careful you can create huge feedback looks so start by feeding back a small amount and increase it (never past unity amount).
