It is becoming beautiful. Watching you build this has been such a blessing. I have often loved the homes built in the greenhouses in other countries and seeing in on a small scale is awesome. Watching the progress of learning what does well and how to grow in different conditions is very educational. So many channels are all about expensive inputs. They price most people out of the ability to try. Thank you for keeping it real with the success and failures. This is the best way to learn.

Thank you so much! I enjoy figuring things out on my own with input from experts. Always have. This is the first big challenge that I've had an audience. Even though that's by my choice it's still disconcerting. Most people have been kind when I expose some of my 'learning experiences'. I really appreciate your encouragement throughout the years.

@@liveinagreenhouse learning is amazing. The home will be breathtaking in a few years because of all the work you are putting into it now. The best part is you will have done it much more naturally without all the expensive inputs. Not saying that it will be cheap.. just that it will be money spent where you want not someone else.

Good morning Shawn. I loved the tour. Yes, you can pick the nettle. I pick the top 5" or so. It will branch out and then I keep picking all Spring, Summer and still in early Fall. You don't want to pick once it goes to seed. Teas, soups, stews, eggs all taste great. Drying some for winter is also on my list for this year. I make a tincture from the dried, use a teaspoon daily to prevent my seasonal allergies. WOW, your raised bed soil are looking beautiful. Your peach tree is loving it's home. All your 'starts' in pots are doing fantastic. Wish I had an area of wild ramps. The flower area outside your office is absolutely gorgeous and wonderful for you to enjoy while working. Thank you for the indoor tour also. I like how you decorate with your accessories according to the seasons. I am so very happy for you Shawn. Hard work and determination. Take care and may peace, love and joy always be with you my friend. Lark

Good morning Lark. Thank you! I'll try some of the nettles. I have only that small patch and have meant to make something with them but then chicken out. I've grown a variety of culinary herbs over the years but want to learn to use more medicinal herbs. This year is going to be the start.

I think the mystery plant at 10:48 is an ivy-leaved toadflax.
