E-flite Spitfire Mk XIV 1.2m - LET'S FLY!

Today, I decided to take my old E-flite Spitfire Mk XIV 1.2m out for a spin. It's been a least a year since she has seen the skies. She still flies very well but because I had to program her on my new NX-10, I had to do all trimming all over again. She does have a tendency to pitch up. I forgot that we had to add some lead weights to get her trimmed out for straight and level. The slightly larger battery definitely helps. Even after all this time, she still flies and looks so beautiful in the sky!

Ya great looking plane. I would buy it if they brought it back. Needs wider gear, but you had no problem landing it. Great job.

Excellent flight John keep up the good work I'm learning a lot from you I want to see you put that f-14 tomcat back in the air I got mine I'm just waiting for the weather to get better

I picked up a used Spitfire Mk XIV a few months back. It has more battle damage than yours, I had to replace the aileron servos, rehinge most of the control surfaces, and I'll probably have to get new retracts soon, but I thought it was well worth it as I love how it flies! I only fly mine on 4S though as it adds a little more excitement than a 3S battery. Nice flight and beautiful airplane!
