E-Flite Extra 300 - 3m RC Aerobatic Plane - Maiden

I purchased this model second hand from one of our RC Club members. Had a few issues like bent landing gear, broken prop, but for the most part it was good to go other than some scuffing around the foam.
One thing I noticed as the movement of the flight surfaces wasn't as smooth as I would have liked. The aircraft flies fantastic with the suggested CG. All I did in this flight was trim it out and do a few low passes and it flew well, however small inputs were really hard to achieve smooth movement.
Will investigate the potential Servo issue and do a follow up on this model soon.

Well done Paul. A club member from our club got certified for his gold wings today flying that E-Flite Extra. Looks like an awesome plane. Cheers, Mike 👍

I had another crack at it today and it's flying better. I think the next flight it should be spot on. It's a great model that's for sure

Using the V8FR from FrSky. One of the old receivers I had

@@BMSRC-im6qe Oh nice. I had those too never with Tx16s. But now I'm using lot of td receivers and lot of radio master er elrs receivers.
Better servos may help, but it is a 3D plane with big control surfaces. I found this plane to be challenge to fly smoothly, until I improved my skills a bit...now I enjoy it.😉

Skills need more work as they always will. It's dialled in better today and hopefully the changes I've made to the linkages should still give the right feel. Will do a followup
