The only suggestion that I have would be to paint the tips of the props yellow.

Yes, because the Airbus AM400 has yellow tips. I will do that on my EC-1500 🙂

You should put some of those little army men with the parachutes at the back door so when you open it, they fall out in the parachutes open up and float down. Lol that would be so cool.

Only thing missing, is a tiny Tom Cruise hanging on the door. That's a gloriously flawless scale flyer, & those landings, & LAUNCHES!! Unfortunately, I've no place I could fly one of this size, but I'll definitely agree.....it's awesome.

Wow, thanks very much Brian and your "Video Team", I love your movies, and I just bought my EC-1500 because I saw a docu about the Airbus AM400 Atlas. Right after, I ordered the EC-1500, picked it up yesterday and assembled it. I had exactly the same problems like with the righthand wing screws, and the decals, as you show it in your unboxing video. Today I did a full power engine test, using a baggage scale and wow it pulls 3.4 Kilos, which is much more than the weight of 2.7 kilos with a 4S 4300 accu. And, I also changed to both flaps each side, I found it silly that the ailerons are connected to outer flaps and yes it was not easy to get these covers off and install the other connector pieces. I also like to fly such aircraft scale, no 3 D stuff like HH shows on their video, and I love big planes with big flaps. A few things I would rather have, like retracts, and also, the rudder servo should be on the r/h side for better scale looks. Anyways, I'm looking forward to maiden flight, last thing is to install attachements for one of my Mobius camera on the L/H wing, and perhaps one on the tail. Check my channel, "Herb D. Weber" I have plenty videos, like of a Twin Otter, and other planes, but the special ones are unlisted because of a secret flying place. And thanks Meagan for filming all these planes coming by very close 🙂

This is AWESOME!!!!! I love my Coast Guard one and I know I am absolutely gonna LOVE this Big Beautiful Bird!!!!!

My wife loved that "Nemo" livery, but I like them BOTH to be honest. The Grey looks more finished for sure.

Hi Brian, I have been just recently started watching your channel. This video made me think that it would be really great if you could actually load the back of the cargo holding bay with some small card board made boxes that you could do a flyby cargo deployment onto the grass area at the side of your drive way. Just another touch of enjoyment for you. And the home viewer. lol. Possible even with parachute. Maybe. And a thank you to your wife e with the great camera work. Great work. Hah, it's great this plane is back. My first one (version 1) was 18 minutes in when one of the two ESC's hit LVC and rolled over into the dirt on a high speed downwind approach. I was having so much fun doing touch and goes that I lost track of the time. I actually immediately bought a second one, despite the price, to have to fly while I rebuilt the first. Alas, I already have two version ones right now, and inflation is killing me. If anything, I would say the two-in-one ESC is a great innovation to avoid asymmetric thrust on an inadvertent low voltage cutoff.

Oh my goodness all these twin engine airplanes..... wow!!!

First off, want to say you're the reason I gave flying a go! 18 planes later...here I am! So thank you for your helpful, detailed, instructional videos. Us newbies really appreciate it! As far as the reverse thrust, the noise it makes always makes me nervous. I've always throttled down, then engaged reverse thrust and throttle back up. Is that the correct way to do it or can you engage reverse thrust on the fly without throttling down? Just nervous about damaging the motors. Thank you!

Thanks for being here with us Omar, and so glad to hear we had a small part in getting you into the RC addiction ;) As for Thrust Reverse, YES, you can just turn it on - the ESC's "prepare" the motor to change directions (AKA, BREAK before changing direction). Sure, it's a good idea to NOT just flip the switch, but you can basically just do it. Worst case, I've heard of is a prop nut backing off. If you prefer to use caution, that's totally fine too. Thank you for programming the longer Full Size Flaps on her, everyone else seems to be doing the huge Ailerons and while I appreciate seeing RC Airplanes do all kinds of crazy things, this baby needs those BIG Flaps!!! 🤠🤙🏼

@RC planes plenty hobby shops in the UK. It's just a waiting game till they get them in stock. Eflite are terrible with it. FMS and Xfly are pretty good getting them in on time and sometimes before USA. We still haven't got the A10 64mm Avian or F16 Thunderbird 80mm yet.

You need some dragonflies, for the biting insects problem. I used to work on road crews sometimes. And when the bugs was stirred up by our digging, the dragonflies we loved them when they showed up made quick order of the pest problem in no time.😁🧙🥷😇 This video is great as always. 👍🥳🪅

We did with the EFlite A-10, and it was amazing. The FMS twin 70mm A10, doesn't come equipped with the feature :(...

You might be able to make a press in bushing, or even just GREASE the shafts??? BUT, they are annoyingly loud... I wonder if we could just take some paper and shim the wheels, but might start a fire too - LOL ;)

The plane will stop flying ;) Battery gets low, but they'll "SAG" then you can get out of the throttle to help or allow the battery to recover a bit, then sometimes you can keep flying for quite a while...just depends on if you're pushing it hard, or just cruising around. If you're just cruising around, you will want to RESPECT the warning, more than if you're pushing it for this reason. Good luck, and happy flying!

Hi Brian, great review, as always! Question: my experience with E-flite planes which have the option between 3 and 4s or 4 and 6s, normally you DO need the stonger of the two batteries. How is that with this plane? I have plenty of 3S 3200 but I have a feeling then the plane will be underpowered? Thanks for your feedback!

We have some footage, but never published it from last year, and to be honest, I want to be doing it BADLY, it's just been so busy, and I knew I would run into this issue - the weather we need to film is pretty much the same weather I would need to fly PPG - so it's been a real challenge. I have the gear ready to go, and want to get flying, but just haven't gotten up the nerve. What would help is if I had a buddy here who could help me get flying, and after a few weeks of flying, I'm sure I'd be good to go.

I can not spell plethora.

I forgot to say thank you for abusing batteries so I don't have to.

technically its a C-160 which is a cargo plane developed by the french-german cooperated venture. They were use extensively by the french and alot in Africa too C-160

No, while similar to the C-160 this RC was modeled after the C-27J Spartan, you can tell it's almost an exact copy of the C-27.

Wow HH does it again they put another coat of paint on the same plane and made some 5 dollars upgrades and found a whole new gang of buyers. I wish they would get some better vision and come up with some new models Come on stop the re hashing.. Just my 2 cents It would be cheaper to buy a can of paint and upgrade the esc. Nice Review pal.

It’s a great plane, but no retracts, no Fat Albert scheme, still sounds like a shopping cart with a bad wheel and the price point is garbage

Real one got thrust reverse too, Can loop & can do straight dive landing from sky too. From the footage I've seen, Joe Nall flying field size was underwelming, considering it is our biggest RC event.
