Dynojet auto session on the Road King

Today is a How to: Auto tune on the Dynojet Power Vision. Well, it’s a How I...
It’s not a big deal, just follow the screen prompts. You paid for it, use it. The Road King
seemed to love it

    Great video...very informative. Just curious: How accurate/good can the auto tune be if the bike has narrow band O2 sensors?

  • @JaySorsby1

    @JaySorsby1

    10 ай бұрын

    The way I understand it… NB O2’s are excellent in a narrow range (15.0-14.2 afrs?). When you are building a new map you must select narrow or wide. This tells the Dynojet how much lying (to the ecm) it must do. The ecm can maintain the same afr even at higher elevations. So if you lie to the ecm about the elevation you can maintain the perception of a higher afr. Tell the ecm the air is less dense and it will add fuel. But, it will not be as accurate as a set of WB O2’s. Close, but not dead on.

    This is almost the best explanation about the autone, thank you sir. I was wondering if you have modified anything on the QUICK TUNE as well as the THROTTLE RESPONSE response settings to get a more responsive throttle action like the newer bikes' sport or track mode behavior. Thank you again and all the very best.

    Throttle “smoothing” is off. If I hit a pothole and blip the throttle, the bike reacts. Whereas before it did not. I believe the PV does that without asking.

  • @JaySorsby1

    Aim for 20 rpm at a time. 1500, count to 3. 1520 count to 3. 1540… If you hold the throttle still you can see the block change color. Are you using the hill method? If you’re on the flat, some of those blocks will be near impossible to fill in.
