The sets you are showing are beautiful. I've seen some in stores that give pajama vibe. This is a trend I think may be tricky to pull off. If done right, it looks elegant in my opinion. I think monochromatic looks are striking. Before I buy anything, I think I'll practice with what I've got in my closet, navy top with matching denim and black on black.

Great video! I love the look of two-piece sets but I can't do sleeveless! 😢 I know I can wear a t-shirt under a vest but it's already too hot here in Texas for any layers. I wish they'd do the same sets but with short-sleeved tops instead of sleeveless! ❤

Thanks for this video! One question, do you think it will continue into the fall? I am a lifelong sewist and as I retire from my profession this summer, I am drawn to sewing 2 three/four piece sets for my new needed capsule wardrobe for occaisional public speaking events. I had two such sets back in my grad school days when Color Me Beautiful was on the best selller list. I am drawn to the idea again but would sew current silhouettes. I would really appreciate your response. My sewing time is limited so a plan is very helpful. Thanks.

I know it's just in my head, but I have a real problem with wearing a crew neck shirt under a deep v-neck anything. Sweater, vest, whatever. I feel like it draws the eye to that big triangle that is created on my chest. Even if I have a necklace(s) there, to me it's just a huge "eyes here" sign pointing right at that spot.

@@YourGuideToStyle I have one sweater that I wear a lower scoop neck tank top underneath, in a darker shade of the sweater color. But, I don't wear v-necks all that often, to be honest. I know it's a me problem, LOL. I just am not comfortable in a v-neck. I don't know why.
