I love beige and so many people think it’s boring. The right shade for your skin tone can make you absolutely glow. Every time I wear a beige outfit from St John, I get complements even from men who never notice women’s clothes. And what is interesting is that they don’t comment on how the clothes look but rather on how well I look. That’s the goal or should be.

As an Image and Color Specialist for 30 years, Im happy to see people are becoming interested in colors for their skintone. I do not agree with all the color combinations with beige presented in this video. Yet I'd like to thank you for bringing color in a wardrobe can bring out the beauty a person already have.

Beige does wash me out. I basically look dead in it. I love Navy, maybe I’ll try the two together.

Maybe the tone is too warm (yellowish) for you? Have you tried a softer light beige? Or winterwhite (marshmellow). Blue can also be tricky. I (summertype) look great in cobolt and denim but not navy. Good luck.

If your skin is warm tone then beige/ cream is good. If your skin is cool tone , white /off white is better .

Beiges can range from very warm to very cool. This makes a big difference when you pair them with other colors.

That works with two colors of any classic color like beige, white, navy, black, and then with any other color as long as you keep it in groups of two

I love all the combinations. Especially navy because that is my signature color.

Invaluable information, as always. Though I have beg to differ, as light Biege makes me look insipid. However, the rich tone of Camel looks expensive on my skintone.

Have been told not to wear beige because of medium skin color. I love beige!

I realize I have incorporated a lot more beige into my wardrobe. I tend to brighten it with white or sometimes black or yellow, depending if it's day or night time wear.

Beige and white. White near your face. Beige on the bottom away from your face. If you have a warm color complexion, then go for it. If you have a cool color complexion wear the cool color near your face.

Beige is the staple colour in my wardrobe. So easy to pair with other colours and always looks elegant. A pair of beige slacks or chinos with a beige or white cashmere jumper or a silk or cotton blouse, a pearl necklace or golden chain and earrings for a daily casual look - voilà so chick! 👍🏻😅

A touch of beige my look chic but too much can create a matronly appearance. For older women, beige is chic but younger women, the color will look too matronly.

I bought I thought cute beige pants. I accessorized carefully. The feedback I got was "where are your pants?" I decided to burn all my beige.

Beige does not suit many people. A quick way to look "washed out". Hardly memorable.

I stay away from beige. Sophisticated jewel colors is what I wear.

I do not like beige and yellow together. The other combinations are all great!
