EQ I have the bird Bobby built last night. To get the panel covering th wires to fit the foam has to be carved out. I used clear packing tape instead of glue so i have access.

Awesome build Dave! This particular model is a more advanced build than I am comfortable with.

Dave great build review. Really nice job explaining what you had to do to correct the issues. This old Man has some Dynam planes over the years flying. Yes I had issues. Like you they all were corrected. Thanks for sharing. ✈😎💖

Good video Dave, I have almost all the Dynam warbirds. These were my first warbirds I purchased from a place called Nitroplanes where they were like 125-150 bucks. A steal back then. All planes required some type of tinkering to get them to fly great. My favorite planes they make are the P47, FW190, T28, and F6F. These all fly great. Still going strong like 6 years later! BF 109, Corsair, and the Mustang are ok too, I just feel they don’t fly as well as the other ones (of course all my models are version 1) but to each their own.

Hello, Dave the AirMarshall and co-pilot Amy! I regret that I've missed a couple of shows. I watch on my phone and don't have unlimited data. Nice build video of this plane. I like to see the truth about any plane(FreeW, Eflte, FmS...) being built. That tail wheel fix was extreme!(the spar also) I own Dynam as well, and I love to model so it's a good fit for me. Nice paint work, it matched great! Were there servo pockets in the wing for flaps? It's maiden flight time! AirHammer out!!

I got one of these just a couple days prior to making this comment. I knew before getting it that it wasn’t going to be as simple as open and fly. In all honesty, I actually kind of enjoy things that require a little work like this, but one look at the wires reminded me with a mighty slap to the face why I didn’t pursue my dad’s career dealing with computers. Thank you for walking through the wiring portion of assembly, not a single video that I’ve seen (save for this one) walked through the wiring like you did, let alone at all. 31:14, that’s actually a BAR cross, not an iron cross. The two DO look similar, but they’re different from each other. I can’t remember if I was ever told what the bar cross was for, but the iron cross is one of the highest honors to be awarded in the German military. And I have a question; is it normal for planes like this to not come with a transmitter/radio? I understand why it wouldn’t come with a battery; sometimes those things are a little tricky to ship with the thing(s) they power.

Austin Huff good to know the difference between the Iron Cross and Bar Cross. I’m not very up to speed on Luftwaffe emblematics. LoL. Glad to hear you appreciate the wiring up process. Takes a little extra time which is always a challenge when making these videos, do I go for quick video or really dive deep? Difficult to balance what I want to show and what folks are willing to sit through, ya know. So thanks 👍. With regard to the transmitter / receiver they do have a bind and fly version that comes with a Detrum receiver as well as a ready to fly model that comes with a Detrum Receiver and a Transmitter. They may come with a battery and simple charger as well. I don’t use Detrum equipment so it doesn’t make much sense for me to get anything other than the Plug and Play model and I’ll use my own receiver.

Dynam makes some good looking planes, but I should not have to go back and fix things built at the factory on a PNF airplane. Also the fuselages seem kind of flimsy, or at least it did on my Tempest.

Dave, I was very surprised to see you use a Admiral rx right after you just made the 22 part Spektrum AR636 Reciever Programming series all while saying how fantastic this receiver/gyro really is and the vast amount of flexibility and custom tailoring that this fantasic receiver provides. Then I see this video, and what Rx is Dave using? An Admiral? So then I'm asking myself why would Dave do that, to use in conjunction with his New Super Fancy $700 Spektrum IX12 Transmitter? Just dosen't make any sense? Please explain that choice if you will ???

This was out of necessity. Thee AR636 has been discontinued and no longer available as an open stock receiver from Horizon. Trust me, I would have rather used one! The new AR637T which replaces the AR636 won’t be available for some time due to the slow downs of production in China. Sucks... I have an AR9350T 9 channel AS3X Receiver I could have thrown in, but the receiver would be worth more than the plane. LoL

@@TheRCAirMarshall - what I've been doing is buying them off Ebay as "used items" from crashed planes or New ones removed from BNF kits by hobby shops or modelers who want to sell the Horizon Hobby plane as a PNP. There are dozens of them for sale on Ebay at this very moment. As a matter of fact, I just bought one today off Ebay that was a taken from a New E-flite Turbo Timber 1.5 BNF being sold by a private Hobbiest for $58. Guy says he's a Futaba guy, doesn't like Spektrum stuff but really likes the Turbo Timber. His local hobby store only had the BNF kits inhouse. So he pulled it and sold it. I haven't had any problems with any of my Ar636 that I got used from crashed planes. They are rugged little guys, and can take a beating and survive.

Oh, and I also own a Turbo Timber 1.5 BNF and a UMX Timber and they are both Awesome !!! Have you had a chance to fly either of them?

Oh yeah, I have a UMX Turbo Timber and it’s one of my favorite planes!

I have fw 190 dynam have it together but I'm getting a fast beeping sound from motor side I don't hear when I connect battery just regular beeping so...I push the bind button on my ar620 spek...then I follow suite I push the bind button on the I have dx6e transmitter when they bind that's when I hear fast beeping sound..help anyone I will be grateful for any on this..thank you for your time..well I have throttle I had to reverse it..now I gotta figure out how to set my servos rudder with my thrt....my rudder let's my wheels up and down and on the other side left and right it only lets one wheel down...O.M.G..didn't know it was going to be this easy 🤔..damn my joysticks are all screwed up I might have to let a pro put this wiring together cause there aren't any really good video's for this type of trouble oh..well it'll be a good wall mount I reckon..👍🤓👊

James Fewell sorry you’re having so many issues. You definitely need to make sure you have all the servo leads plugged into the right ports of the receiver. Sounds like you have the rudder and gear reversed? I would do a thorough test of all the control surface servos and get them all labeled and hooked up correctly. With the retracts, if you have a failed retract I would contact the vendor you bought the model from and see if they will send you a replacement. I would hope they would. It may not be an issue though, once you get everything plugged in correctly. For a quick run down. Channel 1 is throttle, 2 is aileron, 3 is elevator, 4 is rudder, and 5 is gear. Channel 6 / Aux 1 will not be used because this aircraft doesn’t have flaps. You may also have some strange mix setting in your transmitter. Hard to tell what’s causing all your issues without the model sitting in front of me.

Thanks bunch omg..I got it wheew...I had to go one at a time plugging an unplugging..I watched what you did..i some how managed..haaahaa.ooowee My grandmother would say..once again thank you even though it was a video..its graduated from being a wall mount lol

@@TheRCAirMarshall by the way if you dont mind me asking do you have a video tips with using a dx6e spektrum kit I bought it came with a well..lol dx6e and ar620 receiver I got it off Amazon and my dynam fw-190 as well anywho's just asking figured it would be better than texting...👍🤓👊..ooh mybad like setting up rates ...I'm still learning about the expo its weird trying to cram all this in ...lol..and thank you for your time your helped me out bunches so ...happy flying to you....
