Dylan Moran Vs Farmers | LIKE, TOTALLY | Universal Comedy
Комедия
Farmers aren't really people, they're just needed to kill cows.
Dylan Moran (Star and Creator of Bafta-winning Black Books) tackles the common idea of moving from the city to the country, where everything is gone including conversation. Australia is also in his radar, as he attempts to understand how people can live somewhere that's under a mile away from the sun.
Filmed Live at London's Hammersmith Apollo in 2006

Absolutely one of my favourite comedians ever. Insanely funny, and incredibly witty.
The way he says "stwepid things". That's just an auditory treat
The man is a comedy genius and his social commentary is on par with the best of them 👍
If you have never seen "Black Books" do yourself a favour and do so. Absolutely a brilliant comedy written by Dylan.

He really makes me laugh. His delivery is spot-on and the observations are delightful. Also I can listen to the darling Irish accent for ever, my favourite accent.
As an Australian I couldn't agree more. Was cracking up lol
I'm an Aussie and we love this shit :)

I love his style of comedy down to earth hilarious true to life and honest. The best not only irish comedian but just a good comedic observationalist who is so underrated.
He's right, that's what I enjoyed most about living near the centre of London for a year. It was like walking around the world. All the different people from all over the world.
I know this is old but he still cracks me up, every time. Also black books was great. Recommend.

Black Books is one of the most hilarious shows ever. Three of the funniest people I have seen.
Please visit Australia again soon, Mr. Moran!
Anytime someone wants to design a new kind of people-killer -- or, indeed, improve the efficiency of any of the existing ones -- all they have to do is go to Australia and find a quiet, idyllic outdoor place to sit and read for a bit. Inspiration will come crawling, flying, and swimming along before you get to the next chapter.

"Idyllic". You're idea of idyllic is a strange one. We have beautiful places, but they're hardly idyllic, particularly these days with fire, drought etc. As someone who has lived in the places you're probably referring to trust me. It's a tough life surviving here, for all forms of life. Undeniably beautiful in parts, but hardly idyllic given the (rapidly imcreasing) issues Besides, you'll find plenty of other countries with just as many dangerous creatures
This is just gold...never gets old!
I could see my self having a drink with someone like this guy.
Warning : if you ever plan a camping trip to Australia, do NOT read the Bill Bryson book about it. He spells out every possible disaster, including the fact that of 5 sorts of animals, the most dangerous species lives down there. Ouch!! That changed my destination quickly. NZ is so much more a friendly place, and not just for box jellyfish and tunnel web spiders not being there :D

He's reminding me of a friend I had who was a herd manager at an organic dairy farm when he speaks of vegetarianism.

Perhaps she didn't feel the irony. Wouldn't be surprised if Moran now is a vegetarian, or already was, having great concern about the environment and the climate change.
People seem constantly amazed to learn there are plenty of Aussies who don't swim, or don't even know how

Yes Australia is a brutal desolate place. Before I left I had not really understood just how rich with life the rest of the world is.
I like him but he doesn’t often make me actually laugh, not like he did in Black Books. His standup is undeniably witty, quite deep and highly intelligent, it’s just seldom really funny enough to make me laugh out loud.
