The variant of THV that caused the fall escaped in 2021 with Dying Light 2 taking place 15 years after that. (2036) Even the Black Monday bombings happened 9 years before the start of the game so there's still a lot of time in between.

Yeah go watch his vids on the inhibitors and the night runners and one of the recordings they were recruiting some guy but needed to break in to a hospital to steal his information about his blood type

Pretty much the game series will make you cry. Play Revolver first, then RDR2 and to RDR1 yes the story is backward but you can skip Revolver since it has no correlation with the van de Linde's gang rise and fall

Wait those side quests actually lead to a better ending?! Wtf why are they SIDE QUESTS!!!! Techland wtf!! I skipped them thinking nothing of it. Aiden killed Able. But if you do those side quests Able gets to see his dad?! WTF!!

Aiden only has powers in cutscenes. It's not a prequel, it's just detached from the rest of the game. Though you probably knew that by now.

I have to say I enjoyed the dlc only 2 things I didnt like was that it was kinda short and there was only the Block thing and Tarn stuff nothing more but otherwise I liked the friendship or the first fight most Story Missions espacialy that sneak Mission was cool the side quest when you find out ciro took a inhibitor was for me that oh no that idiot moment but I was happy when he tried helping aiden if you let him survive nice challanges but again not that many so yeah but I realy loved the vibe of the Arena but you had to run 20 times outside to ciros dad was sooo anoying it takes like 5 minutes to get there and another 5 to get back was soo anyoing but otherwise everything was good if you ask me 10 points I give it a Solid 8/10 main game was for me a 7/10 so yeah enjoyed it more

Just think about it like this, Skullface, Abel and The Stranger is the same person, Skullface was Abel's alter ego with a mix of insanity and brainwashing from Astrid. Abel's consciousness knew what Skullface was going to do and had to stop it so he called the Pilgrim/Aiden under as some anonymous person for help to stop Skullface/himself. So Abel and Skullface are like DC's Doctor Fate or like Marvel's Moon knight etc. If that made sense. TLDR: Abel might have developed multiple personally disorder from the brainwashing caused by Astrid. He used the alias "The stranger" to get help from Aiden.

I play half of dlc use only parkour move and throw item in arena. i thought it was suppose to play like that till i saw other playthrough and realize that it bug

Great work mate. Subscribed. Though I didn't see not even 10% of what you showed during my run in this DLC. Rushed through this damn thing, killed father, son, and holy spirit. Lame game, bad voice acting, cheesy storytelling and missions/time trials. Any AAA game made in 2018 has better graphics and physics than this, and recorded tapes messages are lazy work as shit. Techland had the chance to redeemed themselves. Just proved they are not the same team from DL1 and saw today they are hiring. They sure need better professionals.

I respect your opinion. You liked it, no problem, people have different tastes. But in the same fashion as your comment, you must have been playing really weak games to be a fan of this one. DL2 continues to be a half-assed game, poorly designed, very poorly written, and so far they have never delivered an update that worked as intended, it's always full of bugs and lacking testing. That alone says a lot about the company. @@Shawn-Leider

Playing this game waited for this update back when they was promoted this video I wasn’t impressed I was expecting more but at the same time it was too short they could of game us more of a longer story it wasn’t worth it…

What a mid story delivered awfully (talking about the game, not harry). The long soulless exposition tirades on audiologs, the narration of the fights, the on the nose naming conventions. I know it's an arena dlc but they really thought their writing was better than it was. I suppose that's just dying light in a nutshell though

Yeah, Techland has always been fairly hit and miss with their DLC’s. The overall experience was fun though. Some well designed arenas.

This was a really mid DLC, especially compared to the first DLC we got in DL1, it's gonna take alot more than a fighting arena with a lame ass story to top Cruise & Cargo

Honestly I didn’t even play this and yeah I knew the spoiler warnings, but I thought from the moment we saw skullface that skullface was actually churros brother who hadn’t died Edit: damn I’m here just as it’s revealed and I was right! But it makes sense tbf, the whole “dead innocent person brought up a 1000 times and turns out to be the lead villain” its used too much honestly

The voice acting in this game is so bad it's cringe.

As for me I found churro to be very annoying. Once I had a chance, I immediately defeated him. I wished Astrid would have lived. I didn’t like the ending because I wanted to stop skull face from killing her. Overall okay dlc. And you know who became skull face because it sure wasn’t churro. Churro only took credit and victory from others as his own, even though he barely did anything. I consistently had to save him and basically carry him to the end. Which I did not like a single bit. Churro ruined most of the dlc for me. That’s why I really wanted to defeat him in the ending which I did. It felt amazing and liberating once I defeated churro and skull face. Sad I couldn’t defeat their father too.

Well..I’m very glad I didn’t buy this. I have the main game and it’s okay. Okay if you set it aside from the first Dying Light. If you try to connect them? Ugh. Just ugh.
