To be clear, while I am NOT speaking FOR the creator in any direct manner, I find it prudent to gently advocate for folks to please refrain from needling the creator of this game for any further release dates at this time. After hunting down his public Patreon posts a few weeks back now, I discovered the reason for any delays is, in short, a desperate need for self-care, alongside a desire and, indeed, refusal, to put this out as a rushed, unpolished project after all this time and buildup. I think the best we can do now is whole-heartedly and empathetically support the dev with all we've got, both up to and after the release of this game. He's done so much for us. We can give him this much back as a community, can't we? So let's be considerate and compassionate, and all wish him well while he does what he needs to to balance both his own life, and this wonderful masterpiece we're all looking forward to so eagarly! ❤

Firstly: I saw on your Patreon that the release date needed to be pushed back a bit. As it is, thanks for looking out for both your mental health, and the artistic integrity of the masterpiece you've been building over there for so long now. I have a feeling that it's gonna be 100% worth the extra wait! (Plus I don't think I'd be the only person who'd have been sad if we found out that you continued to exchange your sanity and social life for this game. We're looking forward to it, yeah, but I have a feeling that lots of us will still be here whenever the game is ready! If that takes longer because you're taking care of yourself, then that's truly, absolutely fine. Thanks for taking care of yourself, and setting what I consider to be a positive and important precedent for other over-taxed and stressed out creators who may be hesitating to make the same decision.) Secondly: [Angel]... ...I remember somebody else who was somebody's, "Angel"... 👀 The cogs in my brain are already turning as to what-- or perhaps who, in a sense-- [HER] might be. I'll be keeping my eyes on this little mystery as the story unfolds!

No. But if you search through his public Patreon posts, he made a relatively recent post indicating that the current lack of release date is because the game simply needs more time to give it the polish it deserves, while simultaneously having the time he needs to take care of his physical and psychosocial health needs, which he'd been neglecting for the sake of finishing the game, "on time," up to that point. As it is, I gotta applaud the guy for making that choice for himself, as his health is more important than arbitrary deadlines for a video game. So yeah, we gotta wait a little bit longer now. But it'll be worth it, especially if the cost of us waiting in uncertainty a bit longer is him getting to be healthier and happier in the process of finishing up this anticipated masterpiece. And I believe he mentioned that he's currently hoping for a spring 2024 release, so with some luck, we'll get to see it soon enough. :) Let's all wish him well in the meantime though! He deserves it!
