When we recorded 'My First Real Love' at our Studio in Red Hills, Jamaica, instant magic enveloped the atmosphere. One captivating aspect was the sincere and wholehearted rendition of the song by Dorette Wisdom, known as Dwisdom, who showcased her exceptional and unique vocal prowess. It was evident that she poured her heart and soul into the performance. Recognizing its distinctiveness, I knew this song would resonate with people from all walks of life at some point in their journey. The live music played behind her effortlessly flowed, and the arrangements skillfully captured the song's mood. Personally, I had the privilege of contributing as the live drummer and percussionist during the recording. I must extend my heartfelt appreciation to Neville Hinds for his keyboard tapestry and co-arrangement, as well as Ian Hurd for his remarkable saxophone solo that left us in awe.
Consequently, I am delighted to announce that our publisher, Steve Lane, CEO of Digital 1 Media Services, has partnered with us to produce an extraordinary music video for 'My First Real Love.' Furthermore, he serves as the song's distributor, driven by his inability to resist singing along upon his initial exposure to the track.
