'It was kind of a stupid question so you're gonna be made fun of a little.' I think that's a great life lesson.

@@Ty-vj4wg Wimpy isn't a good trait actually, the definition is being weak, cowardly, and feeble. I wouldn't want my children to grow up like that. Also, learning life lessons at his age and maturity, where he seems to be more book smart than street smart, is a good thing. I am not trying to diss you or be mean, just want to close the divide.

@@Ty-vj4wg Wimpy is by definition objectively a bad thing. So is being mean. Use common sense instead of doing the stupid thing and picking one extreme over another. The problem with people like you is they keep trying to present bad things as good things because they don't like how it sounds and they would rather make things up to feel better than actually being better

Dwight has been raising children since he was 4. Of course he'd make a good father.

Dwights delivery of “ did you just ask me if this was a cow?” Is so hilarious
Sometimes I forget that Dwight is like an actual farmer. And he does his job well. I'm not sure how I feel about having the same job as Dwight.
Dwight's sister had a face of: *oh god no, my son is gonna be like the rest of my family.*

No that was the face of realizing she messed up and doesn't even have a father around for her son. She noticed the difference in how his son had a weak feeble handshake at the funeral to a firm handshake with his son locking eyes with dwight. It showed that her son grew confidence and wants to grow into a man that will earn respect from dwight, the man he sees as a father figure. In that moment she knew she had to stay there for the betterment of her son.
"Is that a guillotine?" "Is that a cow" The American educational system has failed him like his father did.

Dwight is a weird character, but I can respect any person who wakes up before the sun comes up to take care of his home.
“That was kind of a stupid question so you’re gonna be made fun of a little bit” I like how the kid was like “fair enough”
When I first watched this episode, I thought it was so unique. An in depth look at dwight’s family and some personal development for Dwight, this episode was definitely tugging on my heart strings. Not to mention a whole unique song created for just this episode! And then I found out it was essentially a pilot episode for a spin off series... and then magic was gone.

That's actually an amazing idea. Simple. The Farm. About Dwight and his very strange family. I feel it would be a better alternative to an Office reboot as those from the Office cast would only need to make guest appearances maybe, kind of like how Mose was in the Office.

i love how the kid knows what a guillotine is but can’t differentiate between a cow and a goat lol
Love how he does a firm handshake at the end. Because before he did a terrible one
I'd love to see a spinoff of the schrute family tbh.
I loved this episode. It added a whole new dimension to Dwight.
He's the kind of father you'll miss dearly after he's gone but wouldn't 'bond' much with while he's around.
The look on his sister’s face “S*it I got another Dwight to deal with”😂
I would’ve loved to see The Farm get the green light for a whole show series dedicated to it.
“Grab a teat with each hand” this come in handy for Dwight’s nephew in the future
I love how NBC has a gold mine idea with THE FARM, but NBC didn’t pick it up, instead going with shows that only last half a season.

Dwight is harsh but so cute as a dad
The face his sister makes when they shake hands is amazing.
MAN! this makes me wish a Schrute Farms spinoff had worked out. We saw some of it when they finally made him manager but Dwight had so much more to give.
I don’t wanna be dramatic or anything but that kid is the cutest little kid I’ve ever seen in my life and I would die for him.

They actually did it but it got cancelled :(
So if Dwight's Aunt is the closest thing to a mom, then Dwight is the closest thing to a dad for his Nephew! Schrute Customs indeed.
Also the scene where he takes care of cece at Gabe’s party.
This was actually supposed to be sort of a pilot episode for a spinoff. Man, that would have been so awesome
I love how Dwight talks to kids.
This honestly warmed my heart a bit
I love how he fixed his handshake from the first it's the little things
That was honestly heart warming
Thank God for those thumbnails otherwise I wouldn't have catch those precious emotions on kid's face.
I know they just chucked this backdoor pilot into the show but it would have been nice to have had a few more episodes with this side of Dwight's family. Maybe a cameo at the wedding at least.
This warmed my heart
This was such a wholesome episode
This scene was so wholesome :)
One of the best scenes from season 9
clips like these bait me into trying to watch season 9 again and then i regret it
What an awesome and good father
This is very wholesome
Music in the background: When we arriv... Video: ITS OVER!!!
"Did you just ask me if this was a cow?" LMAO 🤣
Wouldn't mind a spin off featuring Dwight's family
This is very heartwarming
'Uncle' (however a great father figure)
For any one wonder, The song started by 1:39 was "Son & Daughters" by The Decemberists.
"Did you just ask me if this is a cow" literally best line ever.
Wish we got to see a bit more of dwights nephew. Like if it got another season a episode where he needs to babysit
His mom looks so worried.
Dwight just roasts him in a way thats not too mean and its hilarious
Dad goals
Loved this episode
*many years later* Son: "Mom dad, this is Samantha." Dwight: "Meh." Son: "Dad What's wrong?" Dwight: "You could do better."
I wish we could've seen a little more development of this story🙋♀️
I love how in this scene you can see how its shown the difference in how her son had a weak feeble handshake at the funeral to a firm handshake with his son locking eyes with dwight. It showed that her son grew confidence and wants to grow into a man that will earn respect from dwight, the man he sees as a father figure. In that moment she knew she had to stay there for the betterment of her son.
Wow, every time I watch a clip from this episode it makes me really wish they had green lit Delights solo series. It more then likely would have been great.
a child doesn't always need a father but they always need a father figure
That's a great dad there...❣️😌
I would have watch a miniseries of this.
That kid a true Schrute
I like moments like this with dwitght when he Is doing farm work
Nice clip
If Jim and Dwight raised a kid. He'd be indestructible.
I always wanted more from Dwight 😩😩💔
This is the same kid from Dwight’s hay king fair.

Anyone know the name of the song starting at 01:35? Thank you in advance! 😊
WHOLESOME
Oh, that pilot of a show we never got to see...
Omg Roscoe! Wow two shows colliding lol
A true Hand shake means more in this world than so much.
I like the lesson that even if you get an answer, and even if you learned something, the question you asked might still be stupid.
This kid is also in the hay king episode, Dwight tells him he’ll have to pay another 3 dollars if he wants another ride in the hay van again
This is the kid Dwight charged for the truck ride during hay place😂
I wish they had made the spin off Dwight series, I would have watched it.
1:08. Michael, “That’s what she said!”
Honestly, him saying that it's a stupid question and that he will be made fun of a little is just honest. The protection of saying stupid questions don't exist won't thicken your child's skin
I love how "Michael's Nephew" was suggested after this video 😁
Dwight was that boys passage into manhood
Dwight asks like a dad from 1542
Dwight: “Did you just ask me if this is a cow?” 🤣 God Bless ❤️
He’s a manager, a farmer and a building owner.
Philip will learn well
His character developement was the most succesful
Oh man that's kinda sad at the end
The kid is a really good actor
He forgot to tell the kid to warm his hands first.
Dwight is a good guy
Here's a fact most of the characters in the Schrute family were on the show Mom including Rain Wilson
