Thank you for taking the time to explain the difference between duvet & comforters. I like both! I also have a washer machine that is big enough for a king size comforter so that works👍🏼

I wash my queen size comforter in my washing machine. Fits fine and comes out great. For those that don't want to do that no need to take to a dry cleaners. Just go to a laundromat and and use their large capacity washers.

I’ve been just using my duvet cover as a blanket…..

couldn't tell whether mine was a comforter or duvet because mine is all white, but it has no ties on it and not fluffy and its complete sqaure not rectangular in size so i figure its a comforter.

Can you put a comforter inside a duvet cover?

Great question! I think it depends on the size of both your comforter and the duvet cover. Often, comforters are larger than duvet inserts and would not fit inside the cover.

Duvet covers are just plan dumb they are not easy to just take on and off ! Just save yourself the trouble and get a comforted throw it in the washer and be done with it ! I have comforters that are years old and are still beautiful!
