If Steve McQueen was still here....this is what his personal daily bike would look like.
That’s my kind of bike. Love the look and sound, the ultimate London tool
Great tip re the exhaust you gave me few weeks back Dutch, managed to get one fitted and, oh my god!. Completely changed the character of the bike, love it, love, love it. Anyone considering one, it a no brainer....
Absolutely amazing looking bike. Triumph Street Scrambler was a bike I wouldn't have looked at before in its standard guise but having seen this with its factory mods and with those tyres is just an awesome looking machine with just an unbelievable sound. Looking forward to picking mine up soon...
That Scrambler is BAD ASS! I love it.
Nice bike Dutch,hope to see it at the Bike Shed show 2018!!
Just love that noise 👊😎👍
that reving at the start got all my attention ;)
Sold! Saving this vid for the parts - not been on 2 wheels for 15 years - looking forward to it again!
I have one and agree with everything - enjoy 😁
what a pretty scrambler of a bike!
an amazing motorcycle, I hope you are happy with your purchase.
Great work love that exhaust.
Yeah they are quite good.
Great bike - we absoultely love Club Moto London's one!
I can’t tell you how many times I rewinded just to hear that rev bomb
Ohh- love the tail tidy. I might add that on mine. I just put the TORs exhaust on my Scrambler- they sound mean! It's such a fun bike though- we've been all round Europe on ours and they're perfect for exploring!
Found it, thanks!
Strange how some bikes just have 'the' look...of all the scramblers I have seen lately that is the coolest! Great bike and really like the new channel . Steve .

It's a great looking bike isn't it! Thanks Steve, we've got some great content to come!
Simply amazing bike, dream bike. Good on you mate. Love love love
I just bought one with essentially all the same specs. First owner had the fox and v&h pipes on, the leavers, even the blocky tires. I've only had it a few days but it's been great, the newest bike I've owned and its a world of difference from the vintage japanese bikes I've owned.
Awesome bike!
They are a great retro bike i wouldn't be without mine👍👍
Beautiful bike!!!
Just fitted the exact same exhaust because of this video. Many thank yous guys!

OMG the coolest bike I’ve ever seen
I like it.. Really nice looking machine for every day use.

It really is an everyday bike. Literally. I wasn't going to publish anything about it but it gets more attention than many of our proper custom bikes.
brilliant!
Nice one Dutch ✌
Man, I love this bike! I know this video is a couple years old, now, so, I’m wondering if you still have it. Scramble On
I absolutely love it! I want one I want one I want one, exactly like that!!!
That is an awesome bike
Arghhh!!! this bike make me mad!!! I just want to have one!!! I've never crave something like this for a one and half years!
Sounds brutal!!!
Looks cool 👍
Look great ! 😀✌👍
Love it
Love it!
Sweet. I want one.
Its a beauty!
I just recently picked up a street scrambler.... It is literally one of the most fun bikes ever and it looks great. It rides similarly to the Ducati scrambler; handles great! I really need to get that exhaust!!!! (The stock exhaust is so choked and quiet.)

Get one while stocks last. They're being phased out.

So you tried the ducati scrambler before you got the triumph? What convinced you to get the triumph?
@truthseeker-jwnightmares4351
6 жыл бұрын
They both had very similar handling. The "Street Scrambler" is much more nimble than the outgoing scrambler and it also has a lot of potential for power upgrades. Also I was going to the flat track races and a guy was winning on the scrambler... I fell in love with the sound and the look of it.
@ripmax333

Truth Seeker thanks for your response , I’m between the two, ducati or triumph and many say that the scrambler has the edge because its lighter. Did the extra weight of the triumph bothered you?
Thank you needed this, subbed and liked
Very nice
Bad ass bike brother! That exhaust & tires are way cool...Love the channel... New sub from Alabama..... Ride hard or stay home😎
Love it Dutch fantastic xden
Make sense to put off-road tyres on a bike in London, when you drive through Hyde Park.
Subscribed man, excellent video!
Great bike. Excellent job with the upgrades. No mirrors though I know they spoil the look of the bike . Inspired me to swop my XSR 900 for one
@BikeShedMotoCo

Mirrors are obviously recommended, but when I wear an open face helmet I feel safe without them, as you see a lot on every lifesaver, even right behind you, plus it encourages me to looks properly whenever I manoeuvre.
I've fallen in love with this bike. I just want one to bomb around Seattle city streets.
Enjoyed that! Needed more exhaust noise though!

This is one of the last 'naughty' V&H pipes with no cat or baffles :-)
Did you remap it or just bolt of the exhaust and go! Sounds GREAT! Looking to do the same!
There's no better looking motorcycle out there than truimph . 👍🏽
I was just wondering what kind of tires would you recommend to use mostly on the street but I want to do a little off-roading to. I have a 2014 triumph street scrambler. I’ve had it since last summer but didn’t get to ride that much but this summer I’ve been riding to work and just every day so I just wanted something that can handle the asphalt and the dirt that is also good it it rains since i live in the north east section of the United States and we get all the seasons
Hey Dutch, did you pop out the middle baffle restrictor as well as the end one? And if yes, any issues with lack of back pressure or anything else? Many thanks, great bike, looks even better in the flash. I'm having this pipe fitted to my 1200 XE today so excited is an understatement. Keep up the hard work..
Super bike
The dude has a velvet voice!
Great bike and customisation. Im thinking of replacing my Street Triple with a Scrambler. Wonder about the difference in performance though.

There's no question the bike will feel very different and on paper there's much less power, but it all depends where and how you ride. These are great city bikes, but surprisingly agile on the twisties too. You may arrive at your destination later than before (maybe) but you won't be grinning any less, and you may even before the delivery of the characterful twin over the revvy triple.
I like iT 👌🏻

Great mods, really tasteful. I'd love to pick up that plate holder/turn signal combo. Any chance you can share the source? Can't find anything remotely close. Thanks for walking thru what changes you made.

It's all from the Triumph catalogue. Check the configurator.
Who makes the front fender? Thank you for the answer in advance.
Such a gorgeous bike! Quick question, I know the exhaust comes without a cat but does it also come without the baffle or did you have to remove that? If so, does removing the baffle have any effect on performance? I've heard mixed opinions on this. This channel deserves WAY more subs btw. Cheers!
@BikeShedMotoCo
6 жыл бұрын
Optional baffle removed. In theory it should run a bit lean, but seems fine with the V&H map. Lively response, torquey and sounds fruity too.
Stupenda , si può avere una lista dei componenti installati ?
That pipe shield is it custom? On new bikes it is two black plastic shields. It seams that your shield is longer. Or?
Not my cup of tea but looks cool and you've done a great job with the modifications 👍🏻
Beautiful! Especially that pipe! How is the heat shielding? Does your right leg get hot on long rides on hot days?
@BikeShedMotoCo
6 жыл бұрын
With the straight thru pipe the metalwork seems to run cooler than with the stock item. In medium-weight denim I can rest my leg on the heatshield for several seconds without discomfort.
Does anyone know if the 2019 version vance and hines is a different exhaust. Can the baffle be taken out too?
Hello mate how do I go about buying the tail tidy thanks
I just started riding, have a 125 cafe racer, but love your work. Two questions. 1.For a town bike, why no mirrors. 2. How does the pillion (wife) cope with the exhaust.. I imagine it is a little hot at the end of a ride.
@BikeShedMotoCo
6 жыл бұрын
Dutch is a seasoned biker and if you ride with him you'd struggle to find anyone who takes more lifesaver glances - he prefers the look of a classic racer for the road, mirrors spoil that. His wife tends to ride her own bike but when on the Scrambler she just keeps her leg out of the way, there's enough room.
Nice . . . very nice. Do you have compulsory emissions and decibel testing there? If so, what are the tolerances?
@BikeShedMotoCo
6 жыл бұрын
There's no proper testing here for an MOT, but if you're given a ticket there are noise restrictions to comply to - but I've never known anyone get a ticket - and while this pipe is quite loud, it's not obnoxious.
After almost 3 years now I know who the owner of the bike I had on my laptop wallpaper for so long is... 🤔
Dutch do you still have this bike (I'm writing this in February 2020) ? I like the fact you need something to get over pot holes etc in London. I am buying a 2018 Street Scrambler (2018 model). Can't wait. In fact I am part exchanging a lovely 2016 Triumph Bonneville T120. Being 1200cc it's too big for my needs , beautiful bike though it is. Have you considered the new 1200 Scrambler?
Great video!! Where did you get the TKC80'S from?? My dealer are saying they can't find the right size front tyre??

I've a Street Twin same wheel specs a the scrambler I think
Hi, just managed to get one of those few remaining exhausts (haven't bought the bike yet)! Only had a quick look at it but I can't see how to remove the dB killer. Can you enlighten me please? Loving your bike by the way, can't wait to get mine.

Mole grips and a nylon hammer. And plenty of patience!!
You mentioned it was de-catted, mind sharing which de-cat / x pipe system you used? I'm eyeing the zard conicals in case i cant get a hold of this pipe, hope they get a somewhat similar effect to yours. Such a gorgeous bike, with just small touches here and there transforms it into a beast. Ride safe!

As explained in the video, it's a Triumph accessory for the Street Twin from 2016 which comes without cat or baffles.

Ah, i understand now i think- this means the exhaust kit itself gets rid of the cat without having a need to get a different bypass kit. Thanks

Woof
Does the high pipe come in the way for a pillion rider? Wondering if the pillion would burn their leg!
What's the total cost with the triumph catalog parts looks 👌🤘🤘
Where can i find that front mud guard online?
Nice! Did you remap the engine after you put the full exhaust on? And what size TKC80 did you put on the bike? Does the standard size fit (100/90-19 and 150/70-17)?
@BikeShedMotoCo
6 жыл бұрын
Engine map works with this pipe as the lambda sensor can adapt to mild changes in the exhaust gases. Tyres are same sizes at the OEM Tourance tyres. Oversized width up front comes up with a lower profile. Need to keep the same rolling circumference to not upset the TC.
@stevenR69533
6 жыл бұрын
does this mean you went the 110/80s up front without any TC issue? i need these! looks sweet!
Brilliant motorcycle! What licence plate size do you have on that bike and where did you get it from? Cheers
@BikeShedMotoCo
6 жыл бұрын
Hi Al, it's 7 x 5.5 inches keeping the font size still large, which normally keeps the Police from minding too much!
Wish we could hear it a bit more... Next vid?
The thing with loud pipes is that you then can’t use it as a commuter if you start work early. Waking up your entire neighbourhood at 06:00am doesn’t go down well at all...
Superb-looking bike. I'd consider one, but I wouldn't ride on tubed tyres.
@tpv59

Why please?
Dutch gorgeous bike, would you have still bought the scrambler if you didn’t have to commute on it ? Would it still be a fun weekend bike or would you find it a bit under powered etc ?
@BikeShedMotoCo
6 жыл бұрын
Yes I would. It is a little under powered at the top end, but makes up for it in the low down grunt and midrange. Another 10bhp would tip the balance and I might not need another bike, but as it is, I am not disappointed.
Great Vid, keep’em coming! You’ve got me thinking about fitting some TKC 80’s to my bike. What sort of miles do you think you’ll get out of them? Cheers

Not sure yet, but the rear is wearing quite fast. I'd expect 1500 - 2500 for the rear and 4000+ for the front.

Can we fix the cylencer at down
Does the exhaust heat or burns a rider or someone sitting behind rider and could I buy it in india

Which exhaust?
I heard reviews that the front brakes aren't the greatest. can they be upgraded to dual disk brakes or to a 4 POT caliper?
@BikeShedMotoCo
6 жыл бұрын
Around town they're just fine but pressing on in the twisties and you might prefer a bit more bite. A calliper upgrade would be the simplest but we have seen T120 front ends grafted on.... but to be honest that kind of spoils the character of the bike. More opinion here thebikeshed.cc/2017/01/26/triumph-street-scrambler/
I have a Street Scrambler myself and was thinking of fitting that exhaust, did you have to get the fuel injection remapped?
