I saw them at the Belasco in downtown L.A. Aside from rage against the machine, it was the best show I ever saw. I couldn't even sing along...it was perfect.

What always matters to DuranDuran is the melody. And the vocal melody & the chorus of this song is sublime.

Duran Duran still spoiling us all with these beautiful ballads. Best band out there by a mile for churning out slow numbers that just become classics in their own rights. This is up there with the very best. Would be great if they could release a ballads album. A double disc would be the bizz. Would be some outstanding album. From Anyone out there to The Universe Alone and everything else thats beautiful inbetween. Oh to dream !!!

Duran Duran... my guilty pleasure since 1982... proving they earned their professional musical legacy. Shame we didn't get to hear from John during the post-song interview. Paper Gods - a great themed album as an inspired tribute to their earlier music era.

Ok, I would wait for Duran Duran videos on Mtv in the early 80's. I was in Elementary school, and I told everyone that John Charles Simon LeBon was going to be my husband. I wanted to marry him so bad. I have all their albums, and the DVD collection of past videos. They will remain my favorite. I went to their Paper Gods Concert in Austin at The Circuit of America's and Simon looked right at me. I am an American, born in Corpus Christi Texas, and Americans for some reason call him Simon LeBon but actually his friends who know him well call him Charlie or Charles from my understanding. The entire band of Duran Duran are without a doubt pure Geniuses of music. I actually have a tattoo on the back of my neck with the two D's inverted. People always pass by if I have my hair up and say what does that mean? I reply (Duran Duran). I always educate them, then of course I force them to listen to the music on my break at work. These younger people don't have a clue, they totally missed out on some of, if not the best music ever!

An amazing song,best one of the album in my opinion and a wonderful performance.Just wished that Simon would attempt to sing the OOOOH OOOOH part of the song in the middle , LIVE!!It is difficult to sing that part live but i know you would be good at it Simon.your vocals can handle it.

Bn with these guys since 81. In my opinion this album isn't that good. They keep trying to be relevant. They had there day. They need to go back to what they good at Writing great songs lyrically and musically. I don't buy all this collaborative stuff bec they dont need to do it. There an established band of 35 years then. Dont fix what ain't broke. Album to electronic. But I still love these guys. They will always miss Andy T influence.
