Mine too! I saw them last September very close to the stage in a really small venue in Birmingham, UK. It was a really intimate gig at the start of their tour here. My 14 year old inner self came straight back! Absolutely fab 🥰 Have a great time 😁 x

Duran Duran's music was my fort, my safe place, my friend and my place to go when i was sad, lonely and depressed, making me feel better and giving me hope that something somewhere outside was better and i just should not give up and dream away waiting for better times. Thanks Duran Duran for being part of my life in good and not so good times. I can not imagine my life with you guys. My favorite albums are fist Duran Duran and Medazzaland with the awesome Warren in guitars.

Like ways huge fan form day dot got great respect for them first heard tem in 1980 working in ahair dressers at sixteen loved there style completely different from anything i heard was blown away when i first seen DD they're just not htest mjdic but gorgeous locking men also thought Simon was the most handsome mzn on earth and still is seen them a few yomrs but recently on june in Dublin fantastic day out three generations of my family came to serm

Duran Duran is outstanding and they deserve many awards because they work hard, they are always original and they are good at their hearts.Great job!

The first three, even four albums were so incredible. They were the best and most important pop band of the 80's. No one wrote lyrics anywhere near as amazing as Simon. The vibe of those early albums was also very unique and light years beyond their peers.

No, despite being one of the best acts ever, they did not have a perfect first three album run, mainly cos the 3rd album borders on nonsensical for such a great group, which has the least rewarding songs on it and not timeless and says it all the best song wasn't even put on it, which we have to do, otherwise couldn't have a favourite on it. But Duran, unlike most acts, are not tied to the 80s, like many seem to state with their back-handed compliments. They have at least one 5 star incredible album a decade ("Liberty" in the 90s, "Pop Trash" & "Red Carpet Massacre" in the noughties, "All You Need Is Now" & "Paper Gods" in the 2010s, and look at their current album, another 5 star winner. For the 80s it was "Rio" & the even better "Notorious", though this would be their 5th album as "Arcadia: So Red The Rose" is the 4th that silly people won't admit or face. Just cos they didn't put their name on it, but technically, with 3 out of 5 member present (4 if you factor in John being in a video for at least one single) and the fact it's Simon's singing & their very individual writing and producing, how can it be anything else BUT a Duran album! Plus we're not waiting 3 years to blot out the weak 3rd album!

I'm half English and half Irish and my parents are both immigrants from an African commonwealth. Anyway, their wedding song was a Duran Duran song and they dance to a different one whenever we have an anniversary party for them. Global appeal much? They were sick into this era of music. I myself am literally the age of some One Direction members, yet Duran Duran makes it on nearly all my Playlist mixes. Most incredible fucking band with wonderful lads I've met multiple times. Ran into John multiple times through my work and he's the most lovely lad.

Wow I wish I would have known you back when I was forced to go see their first show. I got two tickets for my birthday. I'm sure if you were a Duran Duran fan you would appreciate it but I was little more hardcore than that.

Make seeing them top of your Bucket List…… you certainly won’t regret it. My ex husband surprised me with tickets to go and see them at MEN Arena, for their Astronaut Album Tour. I screamed and shouted like a teenager….. no shame spared, lol 😂

Duran Duran 4-Ever! I am so glad they are being inducted - first time I ever participated in the fan vote. They deserve their place in music history - such a unique band, ahead of their time and still making music more than 40 years later. Such nice guys, too. What more can be said?

As a 9 to 11 year old who lived through Duranmania in 1982-84, D2 had a huge impact on my musical tastes and fashions as a teenager and beyond. Everything about them, their music, their videos and their style had such a vibrant energy to it. They were definitely my “gateway” band to British alternative, post-punk and underground music like Depeche Mode, The Cure, Suouxsie and the Banshees, XTC, Bauhaus and countless others.

Love them. When I was in high school I had a crush on Roger and my best friend had one on John. I loved them so much. My friend got tickets to a concert and my dad didn't know who they were and came across Gril's on Film at the video store and to my horror, it was the R rated version and he made me watch it in front of him and wouldn't let me go. I was so upset. About 10 years ago my hubby took me and I finally got to see them live and they sounded fantastic! I got to scream Roger's name which I cracked my hubby up.

I've said this in another post on a different video but it's about DAMN TIME Duran Duran got nominated and is now going into the RARHOF!!! I love these guys because they were REAL musicians who dressed stylish and travelled to exotic locations. I have been fortunate to have met JT - nicest guy. Reading "The Pleasure Groove" I nearly dropped it at chapter 2 because JT's mom is related to the HARTS which the original spelling of my surname. As a screenwriter and songwriter a biopic and Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame Induction is long overdue

I saw Duran Duran in concert in Scarborough in 2021.

Still my favorite band.

I didn't realise what great people they are. Always loved their music, but thought they were a bit aloof. Watching this, they seem like genuinely lovely guys and so comfortable in their own skins. Save a prayer is still an incredible track. Advanced for the time it was released.

Most of them were from Birmingham and brummies are some of the most down to earth people next to yam yams.

Been a Duranie since 1981 (I'm now 52) and they deserve every accolade in the book. Don't need a bipoic or anything. Just need the band and Nile locked away in a studio with a 2 year deadline to make another album.
