He has too much to lose in his life to deliberately shorten his own lifespan. Good for him for sobering up! The lady crying at 2:15 is Green Day's lead guitarist Jason White's wife, Janna.
These guys are talking about their musical heroes and now they ARE going to be some aspiring band’s musical heroes. Their music just keeps getting better too.
You know you're in the presence of a great band when they have so much love for each other, their families and their fans. They created some of the most iconic music we all know and love. The melodies are so good and the sonics are out of this world. Rock on, guys!

When it comes to music, Green Day is the love of my life 💚💚 I still remember the exact moment I first heard a Green Day song and I will forever be grateful that I got a bad cold two weeks later and when my dad asked if he could get me anything (in hindsight he might have talked about medicine) I asked for American Idiot and he drove off and got it for me. In double hindsight it was just the kind of medicine that I needed in my life. They changed so many lifes with their music and continue to do so. This is so well deserved 💚💚 Billie will love Rock'n'Roll til the end of his days, and I will Love Green Day til the end of mine.

What a desire to shout to the world how giants they are! Best thing in my life!
Back in 1994, an 11 year old me was watching MTV, basket case came on, and just like that, I was hooked. Bought Dookie (multiple times on cassette and CD because I wore them out) bought kerplunk, 1039, insomniac, warning, nimrod, American Idiot, 21st century break down, uno, dos, tre, Revolution radio, and father of all… When they’re in town I never miss seeing them perform. Each song from their albums is forever engraved into childhood, teenage, and adult memories. I absolutely love Green Day. They are without a doubt the best live band to see perform. And FOB was right on their intro, BJA’s stance playing guitar is an iconic silhouette. Can’t wait to see them play again.
Now that we had bohemian rhapsody, rocket man, yesterday and those Elvis and montley crue movies I’ll be satisfied when we have a Radiohead and green day movie
