Johnny Hates Jazz new video Magnetized [a great comeback song } check it out after this video... • Johnny Hates Jazz - Ma... Duran Duran video of Ordinary World and Come Undone Unplugged . Widescreen / stereo. Both tracks are taken from The Wedding Album.
Recorded 11/17/93 at Sony Music Studios - New York City .
Duran, Duran, the premiere band of the video generation, make an appearance on "MTV Unplugged." Taped in New York City in November of 1993, band members Simon Le Bon (lead vocals), Nick Rhodes (keyboards), John Taylor (bass) and Warren Cuccurullo (guitar) perform selections off their ninth album, simply titled Duran Duran www.duranduran.com .
"Ordinary World"
Came in from a rainy Thursday
On the avenue
Thought I heard you talking softly
I turned on the lights, the TV
And the radio
Still I can't escape the ghost of you
What has happened to it all?
Crazy, some are saying
Where is the life that I recognize?
Gone away
But I won't cry for yesterday
There's an ordinary world
Somehow I have to find
And as I try to make my way
To the ordinary world
I will learn to survive
Passion or coincidence
Once prompted you to say
"Pride will tear us both apart"
Well now pride's gone out the window
Cross the rooftops
Run away
Left me in the vacuum of my heart
What is happening to me?
Crazy, some'd say
Where is my friend when I need you most?
Gone away
But I won't cry for yesterday
There's an ordinary world
Somehow I have to find
And as I try to make my way
To the ordinary world
I will learn to survive
Papers in the roadside
Tell of suffering and greed
Here today, forgot tomorrow
Ooh, here besides the news
Of holy war and holy need
Ours is just a little sorrowed talk
And I don't cry for yesterday
There's an ordinary world
Somehow I have to find
And as I try to make my way
To the ordinary world
I will learn to survive
Every one
Is my world, I will learn to survive
Any one
Is my world, I will learn to survive
Any one
Is my world
Every one
Is my world
"Come Undone"
Mine, immaculate dream made breath and skin
I've been waiting for you
Signed, with a home tattoo,
Happy birthday to you was created for you
(can not forgive from falling apart at the seams
Can not believe you're taking my heart to pieces)
Oh, it'll take a little time,
Might take a little crime
To come undone now
[Prechorus:]
We'll try to stay blind
To the hope and fear outside
Hey child, stay wilder than the wind
And blow me into cry
[Chorus:]
Who do you need, who do you love
When you come undone?
Who do you need, who do you love
When you come undone?
Words, playing me deja vu
Like a radio tune I swear I've heard before
Chill, is it something real
Or the magic I'm feeding off your fingers?
(can not forgive from falling apart at the seams
Can not believe you're taking my heart to pieces)
Lost, in a snow filled sky,
we'll make it alright
To come undone now
[Prechorus]
[Chorus]
(can not forgive from falling apart)
Who do you need, who do you love
When you come undone?
(can not forgive from falling apart)
Who do you need, who do you love?
(can not forgive from falling apart)
Who do you love
When you come undone?
(can not forgive from falling apart)

Haunting and heartbreaking. Two of my favorite "80's" songs that were actually from the 90's, haha. I love Lamya's vocals. Stunning woman. One of the violinists looks like she could be her sister. Rest easy, Lamya. Keep singin'!

Too many people intellectualize music. Some may like to focus on complexity and the more technical aspects - many of us simply enjoy what we feel, not think, sounds good. Its subjective. You can't prove one way or the other. It sounds good to you or it doesn't. We few are free to love a range of music from many different artists, genres and time periods without limiting ourselves due to mental positions. True freedom!

Nobody does it like Duran Duran. :) I'm an 80's kid, all the way. Even though these were 90's songs, it's still that uniquely, stylistic sound like only they can bring it. Nothing gets you "in the mood" like a Duran Duran song. Half the time, I feel dead in the head, anymore, but I randomly played this, to wake up to, this morning and remembered I'm still alive...enough, now, to walk my ass in the kitchen and make some coffee. Damn, I wish I had something more potent. :)

Life doesn’t make sense. Just go with it, like your on a mad journey. Don’t get stressed and don’t worry about stuff. If you feel you deserve more, then don’t. We don’t deserve nothing and why. Because we just don’t care about shit like that. Always be kind to animals. Always help people. Always be calm. And never worry about stuff. Stuff is just stuff. As long as you care. As long as you smile. Then even a thousand rainy days can’t touch you. 😘

Awesome Outlook you should write a book. I bet you have a lot to say. You need to really sit down a write your ass off because the book would sell like a shit storm. You have the talent. Don't let it go to waste.
