I started at dunkin today (first day of training) and the computer confused me 🙁. I felt like the other workers were a little annoyed because I didn't get it so well..

And that's messed up because they need to remember that they once didn't know anything. People need to have more patience to new workers especially if they don't have time to train.

It's funny how when I got hired a year ago I was watching this and was so confused and nervous. Now with the new system (I got the hang of it pretty quickly) looking back on this feels like nostalgia. Really miss this system, the new one sucks

Thanks for these videos but I've never worked a cash register and have another question. The DD I'll be working at puts out a lot of coupons for discounted or free items. How do I take off the discount? Is there a "laser gun" I point at the coupon or do I scan the coupon somewhere?

Hey I just started working at dd yesterday I was actually taught the basics and started learning the rest along the way but today they pushed me to the register I couldn’t do it and I told them but they didn’t listen to me I even made an order of 4 bagels for some one who ordered one This video was so helpful but the basics are the hardest and they’re actually not here😭😭

I started today my very first day at Dunkin Donuts really struggled as I don't Know how to make all those different coffees at a high pace have not even started making the wake up wraps and learn the cash register but am hopeful one day at a time Best advise don't panic like I did on my first day 😊 One's training never ends you keep learning every day. Thank you so much for your training video helps alot!! Drive through's people speak so fast I write everything down first not to make any mistakes.

Marcella Berman its probably the kind of ice coffee. at dunkin we have this grind thing and for the ice coffee we grind it two times and then make it and we put it on the container thing. and put ice so it may be the grinding thing. try grinding your coffee beans two times and putting like a large cup of ice

You probably know already but you use the coffee cups instead of the regular orange latte cups. You take the vanilla chai powder and do 2 scoops for small, 3 scoops for medium and so on. Then you steam skim milk and then put the powder and steamed milk into the cup. Boom

Small=2 Medium=3 Large=4 So you make the drink according to size small 2 s&c and 2 shots and so on

You just go based off what the size of the cup. Small is 2, medium is 3, large is 4, extra large is 5. Unless they say light & sweet then small would be 3, medium is 4, large is 5 & extra large is 6. Always remember to not put a lot of ice (unless they ask) in the cup bcuz then you'll have customers complaining they didn't get enough of coffee. The peach or strawberry refresher is made the opposite way of making an iced coffee, you put the strawberry or peach juice first, add ice then green tea or sometimes they'll request the black tea but it's almost always green tea.

you hit credit for credit card. to open the cash register you either tender the exact amount of money, or hit 5, 10, 20. or you can hit no sale in other functions but you’re not supposed to.

In my experience I had the manager call me but in other cases you would have to call them to show you're interested & determined.
