To funny Flamu. Hey did you know WGing considers the B version of ships a different gift container reward? How do I know? Well I got burned this year and WGing's replay was basically go F yourself they are different ships to us. Given their track record on "rigging containers stats" I strongly suspect they have coded the containers with a high % chance to look for a ship you have and replace it with the counter part.

I laughed so hard at the huge cluster of teammates in J7 bundled next to the carrier.. totaling 4 ships, vs 2.. and they were still retreating XD

41 planes? That's probably the most any Dunkeque ever shot down with its peashooters

I think considering, the Nelson did a really good job of the fighting retreat against 3-4 ships and CV attacks, whittling them down and managing HP. The Renown also did a good job supporting, it dealt with the Sub that appeared to focus it, and did blindfire and get crossfire angles against the Fuso and PE. It also pulled Air attacks away from the Dunk otherwise if they focused the Dunk rather than some on the Renown, i think Flamu would have ran out of HP before the end. The CVs did drop fighters decently (at the end) considering, they placed them just behind, preventing the second run, and saving their fighters from being shotdown by the direct AA from the enemy CVs

Dunkerque is one of my favourite ships, even though there are many BBs at its tier that overmatch it and it gets uptiered all the time. My first game of the day is usually in it. I think it has more krakens than any other boat for me, and my tier 6 damage record 204k all AP. Breaks my heart when I see people playing it spamming HE...

@@stevenshannon8439 Like some other french BBs it has vulnerable turrents, so make sure you take preventative maintenance on your captain and main armaments mod 1 in equipment, especially since they changed the damage model so turret knockouts also do full pen damage. You want to be nose in most of the time and play fairly aggressively. If you can close to ~12kms from things like Fuso the Dunkerque becomes a citadel machine. Against tier 5 BBs it can do it at longer ranges, so hovering between about 12kms and your surface detect range is best. New Yorks are its favourite food. HE is necessary for Ise and tier 8s if the MM is unkind, and at tier 8 you will probably have to abandon the nose in strategy and use your maneuverability depending on what is shooting at you. Be very wary of QE and Warspite unless its obvious they are a HE spamming muppet, because their AP will wreck you from all angles.

I play mine at least once a day. It's one of my go to happy ships. It's just fun to play.

One of the reasons why I was so excited for the Richelieu. Basically a big Dunkerque.

I love playing my Dunkerque. It's nimble, has good guns, and melts any plane or ship that approaches from the rear.

150+ aircraft shot down from 2 light carriers and still full squadrons. Historical accuracy at its finest

3500 base XP, just bonkers! Nerf ship!

I have consistently had game good results with the Dunkerque/B when it's properly tiered. Several hundred games in each and both have like a 67% win rate. Yeah you can get some horrible dispersion, really horrible at times, but I see that as a bigger game issue than just the 1 ship that is wonky at times. RNG is broken in my opinion and always has been. I want to be punished for mistakes and rewarded for good plays.

This game was so fun to watch!

Got dunkerque & bayard from my free containers, pretty happy.

Congrats. I got a Scharnhorst and I already have the Scharnhorst B. So I email WGing asking for a different ship. They basically tell me to F off as they consider all B ships to be different rewards. I highly suspect they coded the gifts to look for this situation and exploit it so people buy more Santa gifts. Wait I thought gifts were free?

Lmao, wut...... It took me almost 6 minutes to get to a position I could shoot someone. Dev struck a Shchors, and held off a Graf Spee, KGV, and Fuso.

Many years ago, before I understood the significance of premium ships, I received a Dunkerque in a free drop of some kind (all I know is that I didn't buy it). I sold it soon after because I needed credits. Never stopped kicking myself for that.

I love Dunkerque, but one thing sometimes gets me crazy : getting 6 overpens out of the 8 shells at 13km on a broadsided cruiser.

I've noticed that on mixed tier games top tier ships tend to face bottom tier ships on their side of the map

Must be my Dunkerque, when I play her she can't hit the broad side of a barn. I can be 8 km away and land zero hits. Sometimes the ship is a monster, most time she is a mouse.

Hey guys, can anyone help me find a certain flamu vid again: It is a real shitshow where his team totally sucks and he carries hard but dies near the end and then in the most amazing plottwist his last potato teammate hits a smokefire-blindshot on the enemy dd in literally the last seconds of the game. I remember flamus ecstatic reaction being super entertaining but just cant finfd the video🙂

Nice carry and match. I think they might have won if the carrier at B would have rammed you when you went around the corner, when only managed one salvo at him. map control is overated when enemy wan't to win harder against the blob

She is still better at T6 than Scharn on T7

what a carry man...the game is literally infestated with these types of players btw these days and they're all on your side as always and your back hurts tremendously trying to fucking carry their 500pr and sub 40% win rate while cvs and subs harass you...truly epic matchmaking
