Ойын-сауық

I test the DB Town for compatibility with Zombicide Black Plague. How does it stack up against the FDG Village set?

The half wall will always win out for me when doing any kind of terrain that I use for interior combat. Not just for ease of view, but also ease of access to move things around inside.

Aww I have the Dragon lock set. I love your magnet system. Typical me I backed the JS then ended up printing up only a few files.

I backed it with a similar thought in mind. I think it'd still be usable, but I think it'd take some heavy editing to really pull it off to the point of it not really being worth it for most of the pieces. One other thing that kinda.. bothers me? Is how loose it all looks. Seeing every time you move the dungeon blocks pieces and how much they wobble and shake makes it feel cheaper than it should. As for the extra pla needed for the bases and connection points, I kinda agree it does look a bit excessive. Especially with how much height it adds on with no real gain.

Yes, you are giving up some stability by foregoing any clip system so it is a tradeoff. The previous campaigns, this wasn't a problem but with buildings, it is wobbly.

I would really like to know more about how you modify the files for printing, I've been trying to do that in blender and it is a nightmare and it's so difficult.

If you have a PC, use MS 3D Builder, a free and super basic program. I have dedicated tutorials for modding DB for my Patreon supporters, but here is a general tutorial that will show you the basics: kzread.info/dash/bejne/mmZ50tZwoKuYkrw.html

Great video. I purchased the FDG Village, because of this video (and after watching your Zombicide videos). Quick question... in one of your videos about the FDG village (could be this one), you mentioned that you would provide your modified files (with proof of purchase). Are you still doing that?

Would you be able to list what packs I would need to buy in order to get the modified files?@@gaminggeek241

@@bensorrels I bought all 3 house kits plus the cobblestone street plus the roof expansion and the building expansion. He hasn't gotten back with me yet, so I'm guessing he is busy.

Wow I had much less luck with the FDG Village set...None of the pillars fit into the floor holes without breaking, The walls wouldn't slot in. Must've been my printer at the time...

No, I had those same issues as well. My mod for Zombicide has the posts embedded in the floor so you don't print them separately. Much more sturdy and less fiddly.

@@gaminggeek241 Alas I couldn't afford to lose the modularity required for D&D. I made the Yawning Portal and then moved on.
