Cos her mother is literally an English woman, who moved to Sweden and married a Swedish man. She studied in an English medium school in Sweden as well.

So in Dune there are several languages-There is Galach, the official tongue of the Imperium-Which is like this fusion of English with the Slavic Languages. The Fremen speak Chakobsa, which although I believe there is a real life Chakobsa language, it’s not directly linked to the Chakobsa in Dune. Plus each Great House has a unique battle language for their own fighting men. For example, in the movies we have heard the Sardaukar battle language and we have heard the Harkonnen battle language-I know the Atreides have one too, in the book, although we only ever hear Atreides soldiers speak English in the movies (which stands in place for Galach). On top of that we see the Atreides have their own sign language to communicate clandestinely with each other, their staff, their bodyguards etc.

Chakobsa is also influenced by an actual language called Chakobsa, which is a secret language of Circassian nobles of the Caucasus mountain range. Only a handful people in history outside that social group have been allowed to learn it.

@Puccini000 Thematically, dear friend. Both real-life Chakobsa and the book Chakobsa are secret languages, and knowing them is a big deal to people in the concerned social group. Shadout Mapes loses her mind in the book when Jessica showcases she knows Chakobsa despite not being from the closed group of Fremen who know it. Same with the Circassian nobles. Just by knowing the language, you are proving you belong somewhere. Do a bigger think next time mate.

They all pronounce Javier properly, with the arabic J, not "iavier", like some people including Lenny Susskind, who still calls Argentine Juan Maldacena "uán".
