That little dudebro rant was magnificent! I never really thought much of Thufir… I can’t help but think (whenever Dune discussions go that way) that we might be giving Frank Herbert too much credit, maybe he was just writing a space opera and didn’t really bother thinking all this through… at least not as much as he would if he thought people would go through his books with a fine-tooth comb!
