marin bikes are out of this world, i bought bobcat trail 4 and had a ride of San Quentin and rift zone once, in the next year I'm gonna buy carbon trail or carbon rift zone, haven't decided yet.The only thing that's bad about marines there is always 1 or 2 colors of the bike, and you can't change it yourself, cuz bike warranty expires immediately.

Nice on the Bobcat! Not sure what you are referencing with the colors. Our warranty does not make mention of paint, other than the original paint is warrantied for one year.

@@marin_bikes I'm not living on American continent, in all of the European bike stores there is always one rule no matter if its Marin or other bike, if you change color of it warranty expires immediately, so I have to wait about 12 to 24 months before I can change the color.

Okay, gotcha. The trouble with repainting a frame is that we don't know what kind of process is used to strip the paint off, and various methods can impact the integrity of the frame. So yes, the frame warranty is void if the paint is removed.
