My new favorite ThubQuote: "The special tool was in our hearts all along."
If I were this dude I'd open my own junkyard. He seems so enthusiastic about trash.

Yeah but the book keeping part would be too much work
The biggest value in this haul, you walked right by. It was the drawer sliders. They're $20 apiece. Easily sell fort $10 to anyone adding garage shelving. Or, keep the whole drawer and make yourself some tool cabinets.
Let's hear it for the 'kinetic energy transfer device'! 🔨🔨😆
오늘도 황금빛 보물 을 찾아서 항상 대박나길바랍 니다🙏🌐🇰🇷👍🏻
I love it when a plan comes together!
Thub, the tool you are looking for is called a pex cutter/snippers and the tool can be purchased any place were pex material is sold. Costs about $8 or so.
About to start my weekend of industrial complexes. Hoping the roll offs are plentiful. Hoping everyone a bountiful weekend filled with copper, aluminum and dreams...
It takes balls and strenth to pull a iron tub out of a dumster and admire that as.a country boy like Mike the scrapper.
LOL -The special tool was in our hearts all along....funny guy
I would love to get one of those big truck drums, make an awesome firepit.
I like that Canadain dumpsters have skis and hockey sticks in them.
Use handle on channel locks to hold drain
Happy New Year from St John's Newfoundland and Labrador.
Great video. Just FYI, those track lighting you tossed in the shred have copper in them. There is some sort of cap on each end you take off then #1 copper the length of the track is easy to get. Slways a few sometimes three long pieces.
Cuz, it's always a treat to follow you on your Hobbit adventures!! Everything, all the time fun and exciting!! Still love your Bohemian Beatnic Hippie attributes!!!! Keep it with the situation!!!!!!
I’ve seen a few ice fishing shacks burn down due to them same pipes 🔥😬
Yes there is a tool to cut the pvc and plastic pipes. Should find it at a plumbing shop and they are very handy as they cut fast. Especially in them red and blue lines.
You are one lucky prospector mate. Keep pulling those nuggets out my friend.
I startted watching you and it was boring then you started street scrapping and microscrapping and seeng if it paid and i love what you do now. Not that i always agree but mostly but im a 77 year old small town scrapper and time doesnt count just staying busy or you will die in bed or your recliner doeing nothing.thankyou.
Some of the best finds in a while. Great video, I look forward to watching every Friday.
That Fanny pack would be great to use as a small tool bag while up in dumpster
Im a beginner or shall i say new to the scrap game and your videos or so informative very important. Each video is well made and you can tell that theyre well thought out and wonderfully edited! My man you deserve your own program on the big t.v.. The only people I can compare you toare Tyson de Grasse.(I know i butchered his name. You know thw brother from Cosmos! Or a little Steve Irwyn Crocadile hunter! They have theyre world, Well my friend this is your world and im grateful for that!!!Bravo,Bravo! Keep up the GOODWORK homie!
The table was nice. I also fill the microwaves and add to the washer and dryers. Space is key.
That vid about the lead in those old pipes helped me recover about 10 lbs worth. Some good finds today thub! Tc
From Ireland bro love your channel
You seen them tubes and channeled your inner mick the scav lol
Bring fanni packs BACK!! ima go get one right now, lets start a comeback trend.
watching these makes me want to get a truck again and get back out after work street scrapping but I am a union carpenter so the scrap i get is mostly from the jobsites now unless it is from my house or a neighbors. Great videos thank you
You are awesome. 👏👏👏❤️💙 Thanks Thub. ❤️💙
Great video get that scrap
You make it Fun
Thub put that lead in a plastic bag the dust is what gets you solid form not so bad!
Scrap prices are fairly decent lately where I'm at in Ohio but happy new years
Interesting scrap run but you forgot to save one of the fireplace grates. 🤓 Hope you and yours have a Happy and Healthy New Year. God bless 🙏🏼🇺🇸🇨🇦
hi thub can you do mor vidios of you scraping thing in your garage like on your work bench i like those type of videos
Put your tools where you need them! Be safe out there!
What a great run. Thanks for another great video Thub.
Get a pair of yard loopers for the pex to cut off the goodies. It will be easier.
Since you already have Milwaukee powdered hand tools. You should try to find a deal on a portable band saw. So much faster when preparing pipe and other objects.
Be careful son these dumpsters get sippy in winter
you hesitated over the hoover cables.
Happy New Year, Thubbie! At first I thought that door bell was a flux capacitor.
great finds you found there! keep it up
Happy New Year! Scrap Rules! Ask me how I know! LOL
What’s up Thub! and Trash Pandas 😊 I feel like I should throw my little piece of recycling tid bit out there that I’ve recently found out -…. But the BLUE Covid masks that are EVERYWHERE have a piece of aluminum running thru it - not saying go pick up nasty masks but my girlfriend probably got through 2-4 masks a day at her work, so I cut them out and put them together… they’re not heavy at all BUT it’s better than throwing away and I just throw them in my alum cast bucket - so it’s like a small buffer if you will
HAPPY NEW YEAR
Just a fun fact I don’t want to sound like a know it all but the lead in a cast iron pipe joint doesn’t seal it the Oakum seals the joint. Anyways great video keep them coming happy new year.
Do you have a tutorial on whats what like breakage, prepaired steel, ect, ect? I took a load of scrap to the scrap yard the other day that was so heavy my back tires looked flat. I only got $93.00. I feel like I got ripped off. Risked hurting my back and other stuff. My brother used to be a scrapper and I wished I had paid attention. He died a couple of years ago. His hands looked like leather. Keep doing the thang you do brother! Love your show!
looks like calgary! we need a meet and greet!
You must play a lot of Tetris getting all that stuff including the tub in the truck
Good brass finds this time. The cat wasn't scared at all,was he?
15:14 so that pipe is called pex if you didn’t already know that so a pex cutter was used to cut those so you really weren’t far off by your guess at all
Epic vid.
The special tool is always the hammer.
Tip top! 😊
Tire store dumpsters have a lot of lead.
Add 4oz of sea foam to engine block oil and some the gas. It clean out block stop valves from tapping improve gas mileage
Great video
I have the same problem with the tool I need is in another location.
Cheers brother awesome channel nice to see how it all works. Can not wait for tomorrows episode
you need a bigger kinetic energy transfer device.

The vacuum cleaners have scrap motor inside of them. The more you know
Watch out a lot of romex now is aluminum . Yards are catching on and if you don’t separate they will hit ya. I found a crap load of it a while back . Was wondering why there was soooooo much in the dumpsters at this construction site
Stanley, Virginia $10 per 100 lbs of prepared steel.
get a toolbelt, cutters screwdrivers and hammer ready with you at all times instead of keep walking back to the truck
Why not try to sell the white doors as used parts? Wooden doors can be repaied and look afterwards as new. Guess you would get more money for those than for their value of scrabb metal from the handels. Would give them a try or make a huge table 😉. Blessing and a good, healthy start in the new year
19:00 just take the thing home and do it there. Just made a mess of stuff there with all the rust. I don’t mess with rusty stuff except at home for that reason.
dude you took the toilet seat
Doors sell faster for me than anything. I have no idea why but I get many contacts every time I have a door
I was just wondering why you don't keep the plugs from the ends of cords? I know it not much brass but I always pull the connectors out and throw them in a small bucket. It all adds up.
You forgot to keep the least rusty firewood grate.
@thubprint
Жыл бұрын
I mean I kind of did forget, but I learned that those weren’t for holding firewood so much as holding the burning wood up inside a fireplace. So I don’t actually have a fireplace, so scrap it is!
I don't know the name of the tool, but it cuts copper and stainless tubing
Great video thub just wondering how much snow you got there and always have a good day
How does the weighing part work i see you go from dumpster, to throwing it in the pile and then you have a slip to cash in? Do they just eye some stuff?
How do you strip the tubing off??
Im always so afraid to do this. Don't like people judging me

I used to think that way too, but once I started to find really cool stuff that way of thinking faded. Also I thought what does it matter to me what a stranger thinks of me when I’ll never see them again.
I got a question how do I scrap copper motors
@thubprint
2 ай бұрын
Depends on the size. I did some small ones here Are Small Motors Worth Scrapping For Copper? kzread.info/dash/bejne/kYeLrKqCkc6ff6Q.html
I don't understand why you park so far away from the dumpsters you should be pulling right up to them and throwing it right into your truck it's like you're working twice as hard. And you should have gotten that other bathtub I'm sure that there was some brass on there too.
Should of had the other rubatubtub Mr panda 🐼😂😂
Happy New Year!
