Dear Thubbeard - when are you coming back? Drake looking like a young college student is freaking me out. Signed, Vin Dibona. 😆
I loving seeing you pick up stuff because it's metal now instead of only picking up the super nice stuff when your space was limited.
Ok, community, help him find a torsion axle !
Big shoutout to the homeowner that is employing Grandmas to revonate their home! I saw that 12pk of Michelob Ultra cans in that construction dumpster. I worked in the liquor industry for 15 years. No real man drinks that water, that is a product made for bad ass Grandmas that like to curse while playing bridge. 😂😂😂😂
MAKE THIS INTO A COMPANYYY!!!! you already have branding, put it on your truck write it off on taxes as well as other business expenses and expand man. Your outreach to your community has grown so much over these years. all you need to do is capitalize on the success you already have. Much love and keep doing the thing man.
Chuck here, I live in casper wyoming, I own chuck's Trucks Junk Removal, I am a scrapping nut and I love everyone of your video's. You seem to be a really good guy keep up the good work! Also I have learned a few things from you, thanks
This guy just disassembled a piece of a building right infront of us
buddy got xmas lightsa in his ears lol ha ha
Lol! The "to help feed my hunger for useless junk" I relate to so much... lol! Yes I have a pile of the same as well..
I love me an old school street scraping video!!
Smash the like button, everyone!
Hey look he finally got new coveralls! 😝
Just a little helpful tip. Sew a magnet on the back of your gloves, or in a few fingertips of the gloves for a ready made steel detector.
Lol I actually reached out for the camera when you laughed it 😂😂😂
Make a mini series like you did before, when you were raising money to fix the truck. But this time it's how many loads will it take to pay for an axle.
My brother, ratcheting wrenches would change your life 😂
That’s what we like to see
I love how you still have glee when you find something neat. Its uplifting :)
Nice editing, it looked like you were two places at once moving that trailer.
Party on, brother!
oh Thub, cool work!🥶
I started watching a while back and to boring for me most times but when you started dumster diving and micro sc rapping youve become one of my best scrappers i scrap at 77 in small mn. Town .keep it up .
got to love those water heaters
Hi from Australia 🦘 Fave scrapper
Great video. Just a suggestion. Wear a respirator when grinding the stainless steel. The fumes can make you sick.
Awesome video my friend!
Awesome to see u back scraping again 👏
Happy New Year from Connecticut
If you haven't sold it yet, I'd buy that cast iron planter from you, for, some amount more than $20. I love that.
Hello fellow scrapper! Love the videos
Luv this! Get a liftgate- your spine will thank you & you can lift the real heavies!!!

Definitely need a lift gate.
Gave myself a sofa hernia trying to help you load the heavy stuff. 🤣
Carry some kitty litter or tie chains around your boots to prevent from sliding. So glad you weren't hurt😊. Did you go back for the stove? Happy and safe New Year. That trailer would have come in handy already. Registration and licensing, tires! Can't say that you don't inspire would be, wanna be scrappers.😊
Hello Thub do you ever answer questions from your KZread watchers? Thank you David 😊
That washer likely had a big ass cast aluminum hinge. Also, the glass bowl is pretty cool.
Cool!
Hey Thub princess auto has half torsion axle ends in 2000lb or 3500lb it would be about half the price of a one piece axle and they should fit great.
Happy belated New Year and Merry Christmas! 🎉🎅🏻 The ring-face on the cast iron urn reminded me Scrooges door knocker I was waiting to see if Marleys face appeared on it. 👻 At $50.00 US I would have made a project for that plywood! God bless 🙏🏼🇺🇸🇨🇦🇮🇱
Great video again. Really enjoy your style and content is always good
unhook those tailgate cables off the bed of the truck and itll drop the tailgate height about 6" , to make it much easier to load big/heavy stuff....easy and takes only a couple seconds
Planters like that have gone for 275$ in the auction. Prices jumped 40$T yesterday
Always good to see another street scrapping vid and a great start to the new year 👍
Thumb great v ideo I love how you teach me and the community how to scrap. I never knew how much copper was in a microwave thank you( pin me please ?

Hi thumb thanks for the heart keep up the work :)
The last time I struggled to get something in the scrapwagon like that I ended up on the floor 🙈 Good job they hadn't changed their minds on that trolley park thingy, you got that apart with ease👍I've been away a long time nursing our youngest, but devestatingly he lost his battle to cancer in December, I'm trying to get lost in scrap therapy, enjoying catching up with my favourites again and soon U hope to get back at it! I just wanted to wish you and yours all the best for 2024!
I would def add the axle to the aluminum one with the gate. Way better than that other one.
Those Grease Monkey gloves are great, I always use them. Good quality glove for not too much dough. Love the vids. Just started scrapping myself and your videos were very informative.
Bottles and cans, just clap your hands Just clap your hands Where it's at I got two turntables and a microphone…🎵
All this big stuff makes me even more certain you're going to love next week's vehicle upgrade.
Great video my friend
Love your presentation and information, great job. keep'm coming.
You earned your money in this one Thub :) those water tanks were no joke....and neither was that cast iron object!

It was fun though!
Crazy Canadian Bohemian Cousin, you probably need to invest in a mini boom, they have them. Hydraulic or electric. To be frugal about it, hand crank or a pump type. That was a hunk of iron if it ever seen. Again, awesomeness finds!

…or one of them fancy liftgate thingies like S&P has.

@daleh645 that, too! Why didn't I just say that? Well, just of thought of being frugal, lol!
Nice video. Those tanks can be a pain in winter lol
such a cool episode thub! always love watching your vids
Great energy!
Nice to see you out and about 👍👍
Give 100% effort 👌 loading that trailer
YESSIR!
Happy New Year from Delaware, USA. Looks like you got some great stuff. Im in the same boat as you were. My truck has been in the shop and the scrapping has been horrible for over a month now.
I'm not a scrapper and don't intend to become one, but I'm enjoying your channel nonetheless. Here are a few ideas of themes for future videos: #1- How to scrap a microwave without getting killed in the process; #2- How to scrap a refrigerator in an eco-friendly way; #3- Dumpster etiquette (relationship with other scrappers and dumpster owners); #4- Your required tools for starting a scrapping career; #5- Nurturing a relationship with the scrap yard- is it worth it?; #6- Is it OK to hoard scrap until market prices are favorable?; #7- Can you forecast market prices?, etc. Keep up the fun!

Well thank you so much for taking an active role in contributing! Definitely screenshotting those and will let the ideas roll around haha 😁 I’m glad you found me and happy to hear you’re enjoying the vids, I’ve got lots of different ones planned to keep lots of treasure hunts and exploring the world of scrapping as a side hustle coming, and I’ll keep doing my best to make them better each time. Glad you’re here!
Your a cutie pie 😂😂 Love that hair! ❤❤
Happy New Year! Hope your 2024 is full of fantastic finds.
Happy new year mate, hope you have a prosperous year
Was that a palm tattoo? Ugh. Wonder if it’s worse than the elbow? Nah. I recall mine being miserable. 🤣
Instead of torsion axle, you can find a regular axle with springs and hangers on it. Get some angle iron and weld hangers to angle iron. Then position the axle in the correct location on the trailer, drill 4 holes at least 3/4" diameter and then bolted the axle assembly to the trailer frame. Easiest way to get it mobile and a lot cheaper. Plus you can choose what weight axle you want to put under it.
Awesome find on the trailer. That's gonna be really nice to have once you find that axle.
Very interesting the different things we find worth selling. Those welded, modular hand rails are what I would be trying to sell! Stuff is not cheap, and it ain't pretty new or used.
Happy new year mate 👍
Too bad they don't have mini lift gates for smaller trucks, at least could you invest in a bag of play sand to sprinkle on slippery ice whenever you encounter it ? It instantly turns a skating rink into a giant piece of grippey sand paper.
Super cool to see your siblings support your scrapping endeavors! Love a classic scrap run video❤
I LOVE your video creations. Happy new year 🎊
Nice to see you back on the scrap brother maybe your logo on your truck would bring you work anyways here's to an awesome 2024 brother
I once found a full size fire hydrant sitting in a parking lot completely disconnected. I'm pretty sure I left my testicles back there trying to get it in the truck and hidden into an old freezer..Pretty sure scrap yards don't technically accept them..And who knew an old chest freezer could be so heavy? Sometimes desperate times call for desperate measures.. 😅

Happy new year Thub
I NEED to get myself a truck

happy new year i have enjoyed all your videos and am looking forward to all the new ones this year ,thanks for shareing and god bless
What a great episode! The cart . . corral . . thing looked really formidable when you walked up to it, but you made it look easy. Love the big iron pot. Lots of hard labor all packed into one video. Noice!

Thanks! I definitely got some exercise in there haha. I didn’t show the part where the trailer fell on my foot, that may have taken away from the making it look easy lol 😆

@@thubprint - OW! I am depending on you to take care of Thub, you know.
Definitely need a lift gate. 😅
I know the “sell it online, don’t scrap it,” thing is a bit of a channel meme but that cart corral was easily worth $600+ used.
Happy New Year! Thank you for having an awesome channel😊
Should have took the vacuum under the sheets of wood in the yellow dumpster or checked it for a cord
For lifting assistance, I have used my ratchet straps
Happy new year!
😂 very entertaining with water heaters 😂 Did go back for washer ?
is there nowhere local who buys the wooden pallets? They go for £1.50 to £5+ each in the UK
Would you have you consider some magnet fishing ? Those guys always pull out loads of treasure and leave it by the side of the canal/river. I doubt you’d get more than a few bucks but it might make interesting content.
👍👍👍
Thub would you like some sausage, Thub would you like some sausages?
Ya that planter is easily worth $500 as it sits
just came across your channel, love the video, do you want a bigger truck with a long bed with a v8 to haul even more? i used to have a ranger and now got a f150 and can tow more
Hey Thub, I am curious to wonder what you thought of that micromotion meter you cut into and what you may think it the replacement value is/was? I am rather surprised it was scrapped. Usually they would be repaired. It is a very cool and very awesome type of meter!
I would try and sale the iron planter
Why not keep the brass plug ends?
You could’ve sold the sheet of plywood there very expensive
Was that cast iron planter actually trash lol
