Dumpster Diving for the Car Fund in the Cold and Snow!
Dumpster diving and scrap pickups have us well on our way to fixing the car up! Got pretty cold though, which wasn't nearly as much trouble as the fresh foot of snow haha. Scrapping in Canada, wheee!

Hey Thub! Couldn’tt help but Notice how CLOSE you are to that 100K! Subscribers…. Let’s get this man to 100k and get him that plaque we ALL know he DESERVES!
I lost it at "ooh, piece of candy!"
a real Canadian adventure
Let's get that scrap take it to the scrap yard so we can get the stuff to fix the car
You are quite versatile at car repairs; I can get the key in the ignition two out of three times.
When I saw the video pop up in my feed I wondered how it was scrapping in -30 temperatures we've been having. But i didn't really think about how big of an issue the snow would be. Hope your staying warm, looking forward to slightly warmer weather.
Yes that was fun. I think it was good value to do your own oil change. It's good to have friends who help support your endeavours. 👍
A sad day for me - some idiot came out of nowhere and smashed into my 4Runner, hard enough to knock the whole front wheel assembly off the truck. Considering it’s 24 years old, I imagine it will be totalled. So not only is n my super-dependable Toyota gone, and I am sure I won’t get enough from insurance to buy another, but it’s Sunday and that’s my best day of the week for picking and diving and I don’t have a vehicle! I am already itching to go out and then I watch your video here and now I am all but screaming!
And a handle free aluminum dumpster 2 foot steppy.
Your name escapes me, but please keep your insurance up. I saw that video too
Expressing your hobby making a honest hustle and inspiring others kudos me and my four yr old daughter watches your videos once I save up for a truck or cargo van we’re definitely scraping
No way! I wouldn't dive in those snow covered dumpsters either, you never know whats under there like broken glass, tons of nails or just dangerous footing. Good call sir.
Dedicated scrapper doing it in the cold and snow 👍
Writing you a message about those shoes, step on a nail, make some sheet metal protection shoes, with a strap and recycle rubber, slips next time so 100 degrees below zero you step on a nail, and puncture your shoes or tires.
I see Angus got a good workout in the snow today
Since is snowy already there, you should take a scrapcation. Come south and do scrap runs along the way to pay for it! I'm just outside seattle and theres TONS of construction here that would 100% let you take all the metal scrap.
keep warm my man stay with the repair budget ..
Your ratchet could use a bit of lube. Great work on the car.
Hey thub. I do my own synthetic oil changes in calgary for about $28 so you have some savings to be had still.
Whoa- you are a beast! Out there in all that snow and cold. Nice to see Mr. Wubb.
