Hi Maangchi. I am sorry to bother you. I have a question. I Had a best friend in elementary school that would bring " seaweed cookies" her mother made her to school everyday. I ate them all the time with her ( not knowing they were seaweed cookies) they were so delicious. I remember embarrassing myself by stating " seaweed is so gross" ( never eaten seaweed to my knowledge) When she laugh hard and informed me I have been eating seaweed for the entire school year! :D sorry for the long story. So a few days ago my son ( 10 years old) asked me if I know how to make seaweed cookies. I told him there delicious and this story. My daughter (13 years old and taught herself Korean) suggested I should ask you if you have any recipes. We watch your show all the time. So I am wondering if you have any recipes for them?

I have an autistic son who hardly eats anything. He will only eat dough on commercial dumplings. He ate this soup!!! And asked for seconds! It's now his first fav followed by macaroni and cheese

Mine too! He never wants even to taste vegetables. Now with dumpings it goes in easily and I am a happy mother 🤗.

I’m eating this as I’m writing. ITS A LITERAL WARM HUG. I made my own dumplings for it following the mandu skin recipe and it’s soooo goood. I made my own broth with pork bones and beef. It’s so good.

What I really like about her above all that, is how she breaks down even the most complicated recipes into something we can all do at home, and easily too! What is the big bottles that you poured first? Korean soy sauce? I am not korean and never lived in korean but I have a quite big interest about korean food. Your video make me understand all the steps to cook the dish but I am not familiar with the ingredients. So can you put the name of all korean ingredients (like the korean sauces, etc) so I know what I've to buy when I go to korean supermarket on my city. Thanks. @@ysnam6376 Well I was thinking it would have been better if you did not correct Patrick's korean sentence. We can still get what he means and it is more than enough for communication. Correcting can be rude when it is not asked. I would not be happy if a native English speaker writes a 'Correct English Sentence of This Reply' for me.

Maanchi, I went to my very first Asian market the other day. I was in hog heaven. I was trying to Remember that video that u did a few year’s ago about what to buy at an Asian market and my brain went blank. But I found all kinds of frozen dumplings and Mandu and that big old green onions like u had on here and the daikon radish. I came home and had to totally rearrange my freezer to fit everything in it. So anyway I re watched ur video that u made with the grocery store and have a big list to buy when I get to go bk. I live in a small town in OH so it’s not very close to me. Oh and the different types of mushrooms. I have seen these kind of mushrooms on ur videos and other Asian KZread food channels but I was so surprised to see I could buy them here in OH. The biggest surprise to me was the cost. I thought everything would be a lot more expensive since it had to be imported but it was cheaper there then our local grocery store or on Amazon. So thank u.

This Lady is a Hero! I ate mandu soup in Korea when stationed there. Years ago. I am heading to the Asian store to get some mandu noodles.

I love watching your videos, I watch your videos daily but today I couldn't help myself from crying because you remind me so much of my aunt who passed away years ago who is from Korea. This magic soup saved me today Maangchi! I've been sick the past few days and really haven't felt like eating or doing much. Regular Chicken Noodle soup wasn't cutting it. I made this today and it's so good! I already feel better. :)

Thanks maangchi for this awesome video! keep it up, I get interested in cooking because of you. I love the color and taste of the food you make. My parents we're very happy with my Korean cooking, and I had lots of fun too...

You make every recipe seem so easy! I've tried this recipe and it is awesome. Besides the green onions, I added bitter melon slices the last few minutes of cooking (I wanted the bitter melon cooked keep that crunch). Also, instead of fish sauce I used sea salt. It still came out tasting good! By the way, I love your cook stove top!
