Dumb Things Christians DO NOT Like

Christianity has its roots in the Jewish religion, and its early followers believed that Jesus was the Messiah who had been prophesied in the Hebrew Bible. However, there are also mysterious elements in the origins of Christianity, such as the influence of pagan mystery religions on its beliefs and practices, and the role of mystical experiences and rituals in shaping the early Christian community. The exact nature of these influences and experiences remains a subject of debate and speculation among scholars.
Gnostic philosophy is a diverse and complex set of beliefs that emerged in the early centuries of Christianity. It is characterized by the idea that humans possess a divine spark or inner knowledge that can lead them to salvation. At the same time, the material world is considered a place of suffering and ignorance created by a lesser, flawed deity. Gnosticism teaches that the true God is the source of the divine spark within humans, and that salvation comes through gaining knowledge (gnosis) of this divine essence.
Gnostic teachings often incorporate elements from other religious and philosophical traditions, such as Platonism and Judaism. Some Gnostic sects believed in a complex hierarchy of divine beings, while others focused on the relationship between the individual and the divine. Gnosticism was seen as a threat to early Christianity due to its unorthodox beliefs, and many Gnostic texts were suppressed or destroyed.

Considering there are 45,000 Christian sects of Christian churches, and a lot of them use "their recognized version of the bible," which could be vastly different from others all represented as, "The Bible," it is easy to surmise that they are all confused by humans. Early Christians passed "the Word," by oral tellings from one storyteller to another. Permutations introduced were occurring between hearing a story and remembering then telling the story word for word as told, to new listeners. Words can have different meanings and could be interpreted in different ways and could be expressed differently or changed by the new teller to entice or enrapture their audience better. For example, many of us were preached to believe that Eve was created from Adam's rib. The oldest verified authentic copies of that script state that Eve was created from one half of Adam. Why the difference? The translators, several hundred years later, were.mysoginistic and felt that women were secondary beings and should not have power or influence. This extended to the New Testament, also. In one of the two ressurection stories in the Bible (both different - but that is a different topic,) one specifically mentioned Mary being the first one to witness the Resurrection. She waa chosen by God to do so. What happened to her in present scripture?? Chosen to see The Proof of Jesus's teachings, and the Power of God that could not be denied, was erased from bible. The first witness was a woman, chosen by God! ... The Gospel of Mary exists and was banned. You know, by those guys who today favor young boys, large candles, and preach impending doom, what was/is recognized as the ten words or ten statements - think Commandments, and sprinkle/emerse us in water to birth us in the buildings they call churches.

There's many religions across the world and within each religion there are many sub religions with many shared principles and beliefs but also with significant enough differences that they separate themselves from the others to varying degrees. Always makes me wonder why so many belief systems all declare themselves as the one true religion and god yet their % of the global population is always going to be a minority. Why are they all so arrogant and let's face it, childish in their beliefs that their minority are the only people worthy of a good afterlife and the overwhelming majority of people destined to eternity in whatever hell their particular creed plunges them into.

Revelations was around 100 CE and still got it wrong in its very first chapter i.e. before those that pierced me. John of Patmos, who worshiped an malakh still got it wrong lol. John wasn't finished until the 10th century CE. Scribes kept adding and adding. It's easy to see like the level of anti-semitism from a well established church i.e. John 8.44. Jebus claimed he wanted to destroy the Temple himself even. Why any Jew would wish for such things idk but then again he also said he didn't come to bring peace (which is a requirement for mashiach/messiah) but a sword. To destroy the family unit whereas the real mashiach will do the opposite. These false prophecies and contradicting statements against Tanakh are throughout the Greek writings.

It is. The King James edition 1611 was the 26th edition of very maligned & rewritten words. In translation to anceint Greek then old English the Greek did not a description for young woman. They only had Virgin or Married. Thus Voila: Immaculate conception!

These Christian videos completely discredit the whole channel There is considerable scientific and historical proof that Jesus was a brown Middle Eastern Jew. And how can Mark be witness if he doesn’t know the Palestinian geography at all? The whole story is metaphorical and your literal “historical” interpretations have dissolved your credibility. I’ll be unsubscribing

Uh they didn’t get anything much from the Bible. This is all historical evidence found outside of the Bible about Christianity starting. Doesn’t matter about the teachings of the Bible or what they meant. This is the start of Christianity as we know it.

Well! I never! brrrt Something by now a very obscure book "Another Roadside Attraction" wherein a dried, mummified body of Jesus is shown as an oddity. More to it than that though

It’s too bad that people believe in ancient fairy tales. To the point they try to project their delusions on everyone around them.
